tomorrow's game against arizona will really be a measuring stick for UTSA. if they make it respectable that will speak volumes.

Hmmm? Well I have talked Dave Parks who I don't have a Niner football card of. I have talked Donny Anderson. Mentioned Bam Morris/Crabtree/Welker but as far as the teams go they pretty much suck...relatively speaking.

Houston was considered a favorite to win the AAC and a contender for the G5 access slot. They won 8 games last season despite being full of underclassmen (most of which are now upperclassmen). UTSA destroys them and all of a sudden they aren't good? Nah. They'll still go bowling. Zona is probably better but they're still a middle of the pack PAC 12 team--I'm not seeing the huge jump in opponent quality. Okie State will probably kill us Week 3 though.
Not sure why Tech wouldnt be ranked below UTSA after Week 1 in the DCTF poll either. Although I do think they started off lower than they shouldve.

Yeah, sitting out practice for a few days isn't going to cut it. It's lucky for them that they have a cupcake schedule, but I'd be surprised if they hadn't lost a game or two before he's back and useful again.
when it happened to me, i asked the doc when i could suit up again. he laughed. the spasms themselves didn't go away for at least a month, and i still have arthritis symptoms from the scar tissue. i guess it really depends on how severe the crack is and if him and briles are willing to take that risk. regardless, it will affect his play.
