I'm sorry but this is the grossest basketball I have ever seen played on a professional level
We seriously look like a GLeague team. And not just based on talent, but fundamentals.
Don't box out on rebounds, don't close out on shooters, don't stop the ball in transition....And the teams idea of offense is barrel into the lane and then hope for the best.

this is the ugliest basketball i've seen from the spurs in the past several years. they play with no fire whatsoever, horrible defensive effort, bricking shots all over the place, and just look confused and have no idea what to do on either side of the court.

This is what disturbs me the most tbh. We started to see it during the DDR and LMA years. Players seemed to be guaranteed minutes now irrespective of effort, decision making…

Spurs suck right now, aren't tanking. Tanking may have been the goal, but a purposeful effort to lose isn't required at this point
Players don't tank, front offices do. If pop is indeed tanking, he'd be doing it by taking players out of games at important times, not teaching players how to play basketball incorrectly. These players have ZERO CLUE how to play basketball, that's not tanking, that's our team being TERRIBLE.
At what point do the fans get their money back?

its pretty clear by pops lineups that winning isnt that important.
the players worth keeping will reveal themselves. most of them arent worth keeping.

You’re talking about a guy that used to start Bryn Forbes religiously before we started tanking. His brain is literally gravy. He’s no different than Jerry Sloan in his final years. He’s an outdated mummy in a league that has perfectionists like Spoelstra in it.
You forgot he rode the coattails of a top ten player of all time. Even a monkey coaching could win five rings.
He convinced Tim to stay in San Antonio his entire career, so you have to give him credit for that.
We can only hope that is the case for Wemby in the coming years, but the product on the floor is getting really hard to watch.
