Good news as that needed to happen.
You can't expect a kid to make a blind commitment having never been on campus.
wonder what scouts may stop by the cibolo steele spring game on may 28. they will be there to look at mark jackson primarily if they are there although this year's team may be the best one steel has ever fielded (including the one that won the state le with malcolm brown and tommy armstrong-who has a younger brother playing TE for Steele).

LSU offered DE/LB Rahssan Thornton of Killeen Shoemaker today.
He is actually the cousin of Tra Carson and Baylor WR Davion Hall. Brian Perroni thought him and Tra Caron was brothers, but he says they are cousins now.
Thanks for the clarification and I'll fix it above.
His 24/7 profile said they were brothers.

Quote from 2017 five-star RB JK Dobbins of La Grange (24/7):
“I’ve always been a big Texas fan,” Dobbins said. “My whole family loves Texas too. They’ve been pushing me to go there. But I have to get an offer first. Really, it was my dream school growing up, and it’s still a dream school. I hope I do get the offer.”
Per 24/7, Coach Traylor was in Center today to see 2017 WR Octavius Evans.
Update on 2017 OL Walker Little after receiving a UT offer (24/7):
"I was extremely excited," Little said. "I'm just so happy right now. I felt so relieved to finally get an offer. It's huge. It just means a lot to know that from the very beginning they think I have the potential to play at the next level."
"They definitely have been at the top before I even started playing football," Little said. "They're still up there with some of the other schools and even more now that they've offered."
Per 24/7, Coach Jean-Mary recently visited 2017 WR Charleston Rambo of Dallas Wilson.
He says he will be at one of UT's summer camps in June.
Some of you may remember DE Bo Wallace from John Curtis in River Ridge, LA.
He posted on Twitter recently that he will not be attending Notre Dame. No reason given.
Article says CB Nick Harvey of A&M is possibly transferring and visited OU recently:

Wasn't he once considered a five star?
24/7 reporting ATH Christian Wallace will not be visiting this weekend.
Not quite, but close.
Rivals had him at #58 overall and 24/7 had him at #114 overall.
JUCO QB Jake Hubenak of Blinn has committed to A&M:

DE Mark Jackson of Cibolo Steele told 24/7 recently that A&M and OU are currently his favorites, but he wants to hear more from the UT staff.
He's supposed to make an unofficial visit to A&M in a few weeks and says he could make a decision at that time.
