    legit apologize
I like Bump he's generally a good guy. Was worried he was becoming a worthless partisan re like yourself. God help me if I come in here in a few weeks and the only way he can contribute is to post Ben Garrison cartoons and memes from The Donald.

Honestly going back to partisan bias I would spend more time attacking Bernie who I ing hate as I think his plans to turn the govt into Santa Clause and pay people $30k a year to bag groceries would be a catastrophe for the economy but hes not much of a threat right now. There will be like a dem civil war in a few years though. When I watched that Sanders-Cruz debate I was pretty much shocked at how Bernie pretty much is a socialist and wants to try all that again like the 20th century never happened. Like $15 minimum wage, free college, unviersal healthcare (which I like but would a huge ordeal just to do that alone), plus I even read he supports Universal Basic Income which is literally paying people for doing nothing

I read about uranium one in a book back in 2015. It’s recently come up in media but has been a long known thing. No worries.

    Why is universal income bad?

What do people do with it, if you give it to them? Like any real-world evidence on that?

Why couldn't they establish a universal work-for-welfare program for people who can't find employment? Do what Eisenhauer did when he had a whole lot of jobless on his hands after WW2- put them to work. We have a whole lot of infrastructure that needs maintenance and we will have a whole lot of capable bodies needing the work instead of awarding over priced government contracts on a favors-system.

The money's there, the labor force is there. Instead of not seeing a return on the money, why wouldn't fixing our deteriorating infrastructure be a good return on the tax dollar?

    Those jobs require skilled labor.

So, train them to be skilled. Pavings streets and laying concrete doesn't take geniuses.

It’s not rocket science, but there’s more to it than most people realize.

And people who don't work can do more than they realize. Some productivity> No productivity.

We don't have the unemployed, and no one would want to do it. Easy to get bodies to fill stuff when you have 20% unemployment, not so much 4.5%.

I would point out welfare has a work requirement already, in addition to lifetime caps. It isn't the big bad socialist boogey man that people remember. That doesn't stop people from using it as a punching bag to get people riled up, though.

Welfare money tends to bounce around the economy, because it is given to people who pretty much have to spend every penny on the basics, as opposed to tax breaks for the wealthy, who will stick their money in a static investment.

    Putin ready to cut bait.
"Seven nations had federal elections during the span when the funds were sent — including the Duma, Russia’s lower house of Parliament, on Sept. 18, 2016. Russian embassies and diplomatic compounds opened polling stations for voters living abroad."

That would be my interpretation, given the timing. Much ado about nothing.

Tells you where they are looking though.

Its a story directed from Putin. Just like when that Russian Lawyer publicly said Jr had asked for Hillary dirt in the meeting. And lol no. Not much ado about nothing.

Just like Pootin does in USA

At Least 30 Countries Use Social Media to Influence Elections Across the World

Governments in Venezuela, the Philippines, Turkey and elsewhere use social media to influence elections, drive agendas and counter critics, says report.

This is How Grown-Ups Deal With Putin (j/k)

“It is Russia’s actions which threaten the international order on which we all depend,” May said on Monday night at the Lord Mayor’s banquet in London, where she delivered the kind of tough-minded message to the Kremlin that American presidents used to send:

I want to be clear about the scale and nature of these actions.

Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea was the first time since the Second World War that one sovereign nation has forcibly taken territory from another in Europe.

Since then, Russia has fomented violence in the Donbas, repeatedly violated the air space of several European countries, and mounted a sustained campaign of cyberespionage and disruption.

This has included meddling in elections and hacking the Danish Ministry of Defense and the Bundestag, among many others.

It is seeking to weaponize information, deploying its state-run media organizations to plant fake stories and Photoshopped images in an attempt to sow discord in the West and undermine our ins utions.

May had a “very simple message” for the Kremlin.

“We know what you were doing and you will not succeed,”

    she said,

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/14/o...er=rss&emc=rss

Does this stupid, ignorant CONSERVATIVE lady realize that BREXIT that she so enthusiastically supports is part of the Pootin plot to divide and weaken Europe?

iow, Pootin has ALREADY SUCCEEDED by getting BREXIT passed.

Nigel Farage was/is the champion of BREXIT, as a Pootin operative.

    ===========

Of course Nigel Farage is a player in the Russia story

    https://newrepublic.com/minutes/143029/course-nigel-farage-player-russia-story

    ==============

Again, as in the USA and Repugs, it's the British conservatives who love getting cornholed by Pootin.
