1) Kelly confirms Trump was lying and that he said what family claims he said "that's just the way he talks"
2) Florida rep had mentored the soldier since childhood, knew him since 2010 and was close to family.
3) Trump instead of taking personal responsibility and saying sonething like "maybe I should have been nicer to a widow I mispoke and I apologize can we please move on" decides instead that he has to throw Kelly under bus and basically pit two Gold Star families against each other.
