Yeah, defamation is not tantamount with having committed a SEXUAL crime; it won't land anyone in prison. They were fine that Moore's political opponents employed Machiavellian tactics in ousting him from a surefire victory. The grander connecting point was how Spurminator claimed that only "Trumpistas" would "reject reality" to suit their needs. My counter example clearly showed that leftists are very capable of employing the same tactic. I'm perfectly fine being honest about the dynamic, but many folks here are in abject denial.

You said the alleged victims disappeared. At least one didn’t, that’s what I merely pointed out. FWIW, the defamation suit is because Moore called her a liar, and she’s standing by her claim. There’s obviously a statute of limitations, she can’t possibly sue for something that happened 30 years ago.

Moore fired a lawsuit also allegedly against these women, with the claim you make. We’ll see if that goes anywhere. I think the presumption of innocence should apply to all these persons until proven otherwise.
