American Psycho in the theaters again.
8/10. Just a solid adaptation of the book. Although I always griped that they should have included the scene where Patrick inserts a rat into the pros utes vagina. But you can't always get what ya want.
Ju-On - 10/10

Swimming with Sharks - 1994
A young, naive Hollywood studio assistant finally turns the tables on his incredibly abusive producer boss.
A second viewing, worth it. Kevin Spacey is brilliant (and so young).
Dark and funny.
9/10
The Heat - 5/10. Solid performances from the two leads, and an occasional joke that nails it, but the script is too stupid and too generic to be considered good.
I watched "an american rhapsody" a couple days ago and that was like the oldest Scarlett film I've downloaded and watched. I've been trying to download "manny & lo" but haven't found a link that's not a dead one.
Outstanding citation, Cap. I just accidentally caught it one day and stayed with it. Very fine.

I have an older one, early '90's: "Shock to the System." Stars Michael Caine as an advertising executive who is passed over for a promotion that he and his wife (Swoosie Kurtz) were positive he was getting. This reminds me in some ways of another fine picture Rod Serling's "Patterns" from 1959 concerning corporate protocol and process. "Shock" is quite a treat as Caine goes about the business of murdering the people who stand in his way. The scenes in the office are highly charged and will raise your hackles immediately. The remainder of the cast is fine, with Will Patton as the detective who see's it all, but, can't get to it. It's Caine's picture though and he delivers the goods again, and again, and again.
This is outstanding materiel.
Talk about an outstanding citation, Patterns is great film. Lost my cherished copy in a hard-drive crash recently
Pacific Rim. 7/10. Got what I expected out of it.
Del Toro went for every cliche in the book, but I'm pretty sure he did it knowingly - if it was michael bay directing it,
then I woulden't be so sure...
Mega Python vs Gatoroid.
Tiffany's s 9/10
Tiffany's s and the cat fight between Tiffany and Deborah Gibson were the only reasons to watch this film.
I don't know why it's Mega Python vs Gatoroid when neither fought each other.
Seem like more of a comedy film then a horror film to me.

Grown Ups 2 - 4/10.
Urgh, enough with Sandler movies..
Man of Steal all my thai baht...- 3/10. How many people did Hopeman kill? The dude took out approximately 28 skyscrapers, parking garages and gas stations... The idea was there, but execution sucked.
World War Z - 8/10. I Am Legend but better and smarter. Probably the most Rated R PG-13 movie I've seen.
Se7en - 10/10. Perfection.
The Road - 7/10
The Conversation - 7/10
Blade Runner - 10/10
No . Awesome movie. Well thought story, world class acting (Tara Reid!!!) and directing. Brilliant CGI and they respected the laws of physic.
10/10. Well deserved. Looking forward to a sequel.
Just watched The Road as well. I read the book years ago, and now was finally able to catch the movie on TV tonight. I thought it was pretty well done. 8/10.
Austin Powers - international man of mystery
9/10
star trek 2 1/10
reason being the movie was a fkn joke how it went about it, especially the end fight shouldve been in space instead of continuing on earth....the super human villain best fight scene when he save the trek wankers on krilon, everything else and how it ended was a piece of
'End of Watch', on netflix. One of the best cop movies I've ever seen. Same guy that directed Training Day and Fast and Furious. Also, 'The Jonses' was pretty good. Demi's gettin' old though...

Pacific Rim 2/10
But hey it was free
De able Me 2
7/10
Good but ultimately forgettable
Fast and Furious 6 - 6.5/10
Grown ups 2 - 4.5/10
The Call - 7/10
300 - 7.5/10
Playing for Keeps - 6/10
Casino Jack - 7/10
Cohen and Tate - 8/10. Horrible film, actually, but it gets the generous rating because I remember it vividly when I was 7 years old. Scared the out of me.
The Call 7/10 as well
Suspenseful, but wished they had the old Berry knockers though.
Has held up quite well 4 decades later.
The truth is revealed--it's quite harrowing as Coppola slows it down & finally permits us to peek.
Reds 2---8/10
A good entertaining summer movie. Lots of action and the story line held up. 18-25 yrs old may not
like it as all the stars are older than 35.
