I have to admit, I'm with Cavuto on this one. He doesn't exactly endorse Obama. He says he doesn't agree with the whole leftist "spread the wealth" thing, but at least Obama is honest about it and has stayed consistent.

Cavuto is one of my favorites on Fox and have to agree with him totally on this. McCain should have stuck to his guns and voted against the bailout. IIRC, his first interview after AIG/Fannie/Freddie went bust he said we shouldn't bail them out. Then he folded the next day. Wheels totally came off of the Straight Talk Express when he voted for the bailout.

right wingers are happy about "spreading the wealth" as long as it's upwards, concentrating more income in the top 10%, with their risks guaranteed/removed by the taxpayer.

McNasty's straight talk has been proven to be a total myth. He's lied and slimed recklessly, showing he's an ignorant, unprincipled sonofa whose ambition far overreaches his qualifications.

WSJ has an article showing McWarMonger's transition team is only addressing Nat Sec, not the US domestic situation, nor how to undo the destruction of US govt by dubya and head. Obvious to assume McSame would be more of dubya, enrich/protect the wealthy and corps by raping citizens of their $.

The thing is that he was right when he shot from the hip (saying no to the bailout)...he got it wrong when he let his advisors tell him what to do. The advisors probably said something like "Everyone is worried that the economy NEEDS this bailout, we think if you support it as well you could get a 2-3% bump in the polls." And he rolled with it.

But in Alaska, Palin is the envy of governors nationwide for the annual checks the state doles out to nearly every resident, representing their share of the revenues from the state's oil riches. She boosted those checks this year by raising taxes on oil.

And Alaska we're set up, unlike other states in the union, where it's collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs.

Not protecting the Alaska share the wealth, but I'm guessing that the land and the mineral rights are owned by either the State or the Fed. If the land/mineral rights were owned by the oil companies instead of leased by them it would probably be different (more difficult to raise the taxes/redistribute the wealth).

    McNasty's too emotional.

For him, all politics is personal, starting with his admitted personal ambition for its own sake, not professional, not public responsibility.

Like dubya, McSame is another great puppet for the neo-c*nts, but like dubya, McMakesUpNasty is completely unqualified to be President.

Compare the fatally disastrous mismanagement of his message, narrative and campaign vs HUSSEIN.

People voting for any Republican presidential candidates in recent memory are doing so on the basis of personal bias; it has nothing to do with these candidates being "fiscal conservatives".

What Bush has done, and what McCain plans to do, has nothing to do with the word "conservative". Both are fake conservatives, at least in their economic policies.

At least Obama has a strong, consistent message on healthcare, tax policies aimed at keeping jobs within the US, and middle-class tax breaks. At least he is knowledgable on economics. Between McCain and Palin, what they know about economics would hardly fill up the back of a postage stamp.

So what are you supposed to do when you don't agree with any of Obama's views on the economy, healthcare, or taxes?

Republicans may not agree with ALL of the McCain/Bush policies but I'm pretty sure they don't agree with ANY of the Obama/Kerry/Gore policies.

Well, then you should have voted for Ron Paul in the primaries. And you should vote for Bob Barr now.

This is also known as "KEEPING WHAT YOU EARN."

bull . More and more of what you earn goes out the door as dramatically increasingly expensive for-profit health insurance, college, food, utility bills, energy as the corps get their accomplices in govt to enrich and protect them.

Right-wing dumb s whine about the top few % paying a few more % in income taxes, lies about red herring socialism, but keep silent as they the health industry bends them over for 5%-8% more, every year, year on year, for health coverage, if they can even afford it all.

McNasty's health care plan is a tax increase because your employer's 75% of your health plan would be taxable as income.

0% (what 40% of taxpayers pay) vs. 28% (my current tax rate) is hardly a few percent. And I am by no means "rich."

Why shouldn't the benefit you receive from employer based helath insurance be taxed? It is technically income.

McCain flops around so much because he has been pandering to the left most of his career.

Now he sees how he has no shot to attract the left away from Obama, so he tries to act conservative. Conservatives don't buy it, the left just laughs at him. He sucks at this game.
