Why at least 2 seasons? Because of the health problems with guys this big?
He's take time to adjust and won't have a real spot in the rotation this season. Would hate to have to give him the MLE after not even being able to see him work.

Listed at 293 lbs, and can pass the ball. Can you say high-low?

    True story.

If nothing else, he's six fouls in a BIG body to use on the biggest bigs and from the vids, doesn't seem to mind contact.

    Great job again, PATFO!!!!!

Can't wait to see this guy and Anderson sprinting down the court together.
KA is going to have to learn to slow it down but then all he needs to do lob it toward the rim every play.

Would he be the tallest guy in the NBA? 7' 4" is crazy. How about the size of his hands. Kawhi may have compe ion.

In his highlights he's dunking without jumping

Looks pretty damn slow though. He and KA should have a foot-race for the last roster spot.

Love this signing if it's for a least two seasons. Dude's GIGANTIC and knows what to do when he gets the ball in the post. Worried about him on defense. But hopefully the Spurs can get a defensive wing to run with him on the deep bench.
I mean, don't the Spurs need a defensive C more than this? Not complaining - for the price & role (5th big) he's a legit C and polished in the best non NBA league. But man, I don't know how he will defend anything at the NBA level (other than some blocks) and I wonder if he will be any where close to as effective at scoring?

He finishes strong and seems to have figured out how to keep that ball high, high, high when he catches which certainly helps. Showed some nice passing in those two videos above too.

Nice touch around the basket(no ). The guy is 7'3 with a 7'8" wingspan, and a 9'7" standing reach. Mammoth size to set screens, but he isn't quick. I've seen slower, though. The guy runs the floor as fast as a lot of big men in this league. He won't get many minutes. Nice signing.
He's not very athletic but dunking for him is like it is for us in the shallow end dunking a nurfball on the miniature floating goal.

Also, the lower half of his ears are larger than they appear. Also, he out kicked his coverage in marriage.
