Interesting tidbit I found out doing some digging:

According to Our Sunday Visitor (a Catholic weekly newspaper),

Grading Catholic colleges' health insurance plans

U.S. Catholic colleges have widely disparate levels of compliance with Church teaching when it comes to faculty and staff health insurance plans -- with some offering artificial contraception, abortion, voluntary sterilization and other procedures that conflict with Church teaching in their plans...

Georgetown University provides plans with and without contraception and abortion, according to Julia Green Bataille, associate vice president for communications. Georgetown University's two plans that include abortion and artificial contraception are fully insured and therefore legally required to include state coverage guidelines, said Bataille. The District of Columbia, where Georgetown is located, does not mandate either contraception or abortion, according to a table compiled by the National Catholic Bioethics Center. Bataille said Georgetown benefit managers say because the plans are also licensed in Maryland and Virginia, states with contraceptive mandates, they must cover contraception. She did not explain why abortion is covered...

Limbaugh explained how his radio advertising works and dispelled what he called “misinformation about his sponsors” on his show, explaining that the “lost sponsors” are actually local advertisers who simply requested that their commercials not run during Rush’s show

They’ve specifically asked that you schedule their commercials in dayparts or programs free of content that you know are deemed to be offensive or controversial (for example, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Leykis, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity). Those are defined as environments likely to stir negative sentiment from a very small percentage of the listening public.”

She asked for her insurance to cover birth control. I'll bet you don't know this but someone can take birth control without ever having sex....

Oh, and she pays for her insurance.
And everyone eases insurance in the same pool goes up too.

You are correct that the premuim cost of those in her pool would be affected.... unless a new pool is created. Also, she pays for procedures and medicine for others in her pool that she will never use.

Also, lest you think that the conversation has been "framed" for me as a woman's health issue, my wife uses birth control to control the growth of some painful cysts. It takes an act of congress for them to approve the right kind (they cover birth control for pregnancy prevention, but apparently only the cheap kind which doesn't work for her health purposes). I can only imagine how hard it would be for a company who doesn't cover birth control at all.

Divided by 600+ stations how will that affect him? I noticed the other day he
had one of his "major" sponsor's back. Lifelock.

Well I realize that is what it said. I just wondered if the group that put the list together was being serious or joking. I don't know anything about the reliability of the site. That's all I meant. There just seemed to be so many!

50 or so advertisers have dropped Rush entirely, 90 or so more have requested that their ads not be run on Rush, Savage or other "controversial" shows.

What is the breakdown between national and local sponsors?
