Duncan
I would like to hear honest assessments from knowledgeable fans...meaning I want virtually ZERO input from Spur fan...you guys have the tiest asinine takes I've ever come across...No really....
I say LeBron has had the easiest compe ion of the three by far. Kobe the toughest because he had to guard both MJ and Lebron.
Seriously I say MJ > Kobe> and then Lebron
MJ had to deal with the Lakers, Celtics, Bad Boy Pistons, Suns, and then the ing ghetto ass jail house Knicks ....
Kobe had to deal with the powerhouse teams of the 2000's the Suns, Kings, Spurs....and ing ghetto ass blunt Blazers MJ and Kobe took way more physical abuse than Lebron...this gets a cramp and he's pussying out...
Lebron meanwhile has been playing on Sesame Street and don't give me this crap about the jump shooting Spurs team that Lebron just faced....keep in mind the Spurs went 7 games and barely won against a ing 8th seeded Mavs team. then beat the Thunder who was injured in 6...
Lebron has played in a very weak Eastern Conference his entire career that being said he probably still had the hardest finals of the 3 because of how weak his conferences were...everyone knows in the Western conference the NBA finals is really the WCF....anything after that is a freebie...that's why the Spurs giving one back is such a ing PRIZE and a JOKE....
Conclusion MJ- Kobe - Lebron end of story and it's how they should be ranked as well.
"Contenders" with players like Reggie Miller and John Starks as top-two options
The ty Nets, Pacers and one-man Sixers in the Finals
The weak 2008-10 Western Conference
It's LeBron, no contest.
I hate Kirby as much as anyone else but I would have Kirby facing tougher compe ion than Lebron at this point.
Kobe, obviously.
Yeah, that fraud of a Nuggets team that didn't even have inbounds plays was way better than the Spurs of the last two years.
Yeah, because Lebron had such an easy time with the Magic of 2009 and Celtics of 2008 and 2010
He didn't have an MVPau, Bynum or Odom to carry him past those teams. His individual performance in the '09 Magic series was insane (he averaged something like 39 PPG on 49% shooting with 8.3 RPG and 8 APG).
By now you should know, I'm not really a 'Kobe' guy. I am more of a Phil Jackson fan, I think Phil's systems are interesting and he is the true genius behind the Lakers 5 championships and the Bulls 6. It's not a coincedence Kobe and Jordan were always just monkeyballers without Phil in their lives.
With that said, I think Lebron is a great player, but he has already been clearly exposed multiple times in his career for being a mental midget. The guy is a lot like Peyton Manning, the moment things don't go his way he pouts in a corner and doesn't want any part of the team. No matter how gifted Manning and Lebron are, they will never be like Kobe and Brady who are arrogant and unlikeable assholes, but they live to thrive in championship moments.
Lebron doesn't have that ability, it's an honest criticism.
The Fivehead comparison is terrible. LeBron has always carried his teams on his back, Fivehead was dragged kicking and screaming to his only ring by his defense, as I've explained on here many times before. Manning has been responsible for nine one-and-dones in his career. Could you imagine the backlash LeBron would get if he lost in the first round of the playoffs nine times and had an under .500 playoff record?
Also, the argument that Kirby doesn't pout when things don't go his way and "lives to thrive in championship moments" is a LakersGround-esque take. Kirby was pouting on ing draft day about the prospect of having to carry a small-market franchise and was too much of a mental midget to handle that responsibility, plus his threats to leave in free agency, his trade demands, etc. Was 6-24 "thriving" in a championship moment? What about taking 2004 out of the case by freezing out Shaq?
I do agree that Phil carried DK and Kirby, though. Pop is the only coach I'll rank over Phil all-time.
Kobe tbh, he had to play against his choking
Not to mention Faber was a tough matchup
When someone is good their compe ion doesn't seem so good. It's all relative. 2004 Pistons were a beast of a team that stomped the living out of 4 HOFers and a HOF coach the previous year. The 2008 Celtics could have taken a lot of the "strong" 80's and 90's teams. The Shaq era Lakers, I think, would have beaten the 72 win Bulls in the Finals.

NO, LeBron has not always carried the team by himself.
As usual, you have it all backwards koolaid, you stupid got. I've come to expect nothing else, though.
Jordan had what, Karl Malne?
2014 Spurs > anything Kobe or MJ ever faced
This idea that Lebron carried Wade and Bosh is hilarious. Lebron was monkey without Wade and Bosh, he coincedentally joins Miami and wins 2 rings and now all of a sudden he carried those two to a ring?
The harsh reality is, basketball is a team sport, no one carries anyone to . Even without Robert Horry on those Laker 3peat teams would have cost Shaq and Kobe everything. It's a team game.
Two MVP's and dragging a lottery team to the Finals as the alpha = "monkey without Wade and Bosh"?
That Eastern Conference was an absolute joke and of course he was swept by the Spurs in 07. The only real threat he faced that year, the Pistons were seriously injured that year after making it to back to back finals and also the ECF for about 4-5 years in a row.
80s Jordan > Kirby > Lebron > 90s Jordan
To be honest.
Lebron is one of 3 players in NBA history to lead a team to a le with his #2 guy averaging 16 PPG or less, and he's also one of 3 players in league history to lead his team to a le while leading every major statistical category..
As far as winning a le "without help", it's impossible, but statistically, only 1994 Olajuwon and 2003 Duncan did more with less than 2013 Lebron and won a le..
Tori is a pornstar, but that 2nd chick is just so much sexier because she looks just like that catch you find at a party on that surreal night and have mind blowing sex with you never forget. The skirt, cleavage, panty shot all in that care-free "you know you want to me" face. I'll go nut off in the corner now.
90s Jordan single handily kept 5 of the 9 (Ewing, Malone, Barkley, Stockton and Mullin) members of the Dream Team from getting a Ring. Also defeated Magic and Drexler.
That's essentially defeating 6 of the 30 greatest players of All Time (Not counting Mullin)
