Agreed, Fireball.
Also, John Salley says hi. He had the Raptors buy out his contract in 96 so he could chase a ring with the Bulls. Dude averaged like 2 points. There was also Gary Payton snatching one with the Heat in 06.
, what did Daye do besides scream in a pillow? At least Ayres filled in.

Mahinimi actually gave Dallas some good minutes in the Finals when Brenda got injured.
Eh, Ayres played 952 minutes. If only for taking those minutes from the playoff rotation bigs during the regular season, that's enough.
Payton hit big late shots in Games 3 and 5 of that Finals on his way to that ring.
Oh, and he played 24 minutes per game for that Heat team in the playoffs. Hard to be just along for the ride when you're on the court for half of every game.
By 2006, he wasn't the player he had been, but it's not like he was just a garbage time player for that team.
The hate for this guys is hilarious. Did DJ Mbanga get this much hate?
Adam Morrison has two rings and I don't think he ever played a meaningful minute during either season.
Thank you. I was wondering how this thread got so far without someone mentioning DA. He and Juwan Howard are easily 1 and 1a.
Funny how the 2006 Mavs weren't worried about the officiating when they were benefiting from it prior to the finals.
Liberius Booker deserves a ring before this fool
That's true. I was just trolling
Gold medal olympian?
ey Simpkins, Randy Brown, Jack Haley
Rodrigue Beaubois apparently got a ring from Dallas in 2011 while playing 0 games in the playoffs.
Rick "Couldn't make it to Sweet 16 even with Kevin Durant" Barnes
had two NBA Champions on the 2007 team.
2012 Dexter Pittman
2014 Damion James
The inspirational true story about shooting .336 in the playoffs
No mention of Dennis Hopson? Dude was a complete bust as a #3 overall pick by the Nets in '87 and hit the jackpot by getting dumped on the Bulls in '90-91...the year of their first le. During the Bulls playoff run he played a whopping 18 total minute over the 17 games. He was traded to the Sacramento early the next season, which would be his last in the NBA. He was stuck looking for a job in Europe for the rest of his career.
I forgot about this .
Wow talk about a glass-half-empty thread.
I'm actually on the boat that there's much worse cases... Eddy Curry certainly is up there...
The 3 biggest travesties in NBA history:
The Heat winning the 2006 Championship with Wade at the FT line.
The Lakers/Kings playoff controversy with corrupt refs.
Spurs/OKC game 6 in 2012.
I think Ayres and everybody on the roster deserves one. Just as every little thing contributes to a loss, the same goes for winning. Will Nando get one is the question? When did he leave?
Funny thing is Nando actually doesn't get one...but Damion James does.
