It was insane how dominant Parker was in this Finals series. And I forgot that Gibson wasn't even guarding him half the series (Hughes and Lebron for more than half).

Tony was great. I miss agile Tim Duncan. He was so nimble back then. Bruce Bowen causing havoc. Great clip Op.

    Lol.

    Parker: 25/5/3 on 57% shooting
    Duncan: 18/12/4 on 45% shooting

I'll take the one who outscored Lebron.

One was dealing with double teams and constant attention from the defense, the other wasn't. Not to mention the fact that basketball isn't just about offense.

You know you've gone full Rique when you're suggesting Rique>near prime Timmy.

Then Kawhi wouldn't have a FMVP

Suggesting? He was flat out better than Duncan in that series. That's certainly not a suggestion, just a fact.

Basketball is more than just scoring, Rique . Prime or near Prime Duncan was better than Enrique 7 days out of the week.

    He's talking about 2007, not 2014.

Out scoring Lebron in the finals... That's something a role player beta with braids will never say

Still tougher than being guarded by a washed Rashard Lewis in 2014, tbh...

Make sure you add the Hughes/Lebron references also...the other guys who guarded him in the series (for longer).

Oh he was better than Parker in every single game and series in his prime and near prime? Good analysis.

Ofcousrse its easy to forget Parker being dominanat, because he never was. Maybe one game or two when shane larkin or bobbie playing.

    Where is bobbie gibson now?

Count the times Duncan was involved in Parker's scoring plays.

On defense he was shutting down Lebron, TD was the real MVP

Lol, doesn't this kind of go both ways?

And by shutting down you mean being by far the highest scorer on the team right (scoring more than Duncan himself)? Just want to clarify...
