He deserves his $ ...
and for the next 3 years he will probably deserve it.
Sure he dominates the rock ...but his passion and aggression makes up for it.
However of the 3 supermax players his gane will age the worst ...
and he has had two significant knee injuries.
though he is still a freak athlete.
Will he defy odds like LeBron or rapidly decline like Dwert?
all that being said ...go Bruins!!!
Keep getting them checks, Russ

Yeah...they'll get 3 years out of him before his athleticism goes and he becomes Francis 2.0. He's super popular though, so the franchise still cashes in even though they will be a 2nd round/wcf exit every year. Unless Presti strikes gold in the draft again that franchise will be a prime candidate for relocation 10 years from now.
tbh didn’t you call him Francis 2.0 like 6 years ago? I guess if you keep saying it, it’ll be right eventually
At your Dirk jpg, Dirk won a real NBA championship. Mavs had some players step up huge some depth in 2011 but that Mavericks team beat the Miami Heat with LeBron, Wade and Bosh. Something Kevin Durant could never brag over by joining a 73-9 team, Dirk has a real NBA le.
I think Dirk was amazing that year as well, but a ring is a ring and a Finals MVP is a Finals MVP. Kevin Durant has a real NBA le and you can bet your ass if the Mavs could have signed Lebron instead of him going to Miami, the ring they won would have been just as much a real NBA le token as the one they have now.
Is this a super-max extension?
Dirk's le in 2011 was impressive ...probably the most since ...I started watching hoops. He beat the Heatles. The only other sure HoFer on that team was Kidd who was past his prime ...almost every other le team except Hakeem's first le and the Larry Brown Pistons feature at least one sure fire HoF star in his prime and at least another HoFer before/after his peak. Kidd was still very effective and had improved his 3pt shooting andTyson brought toughness but he had no Wade, Curry, Manu Pau level plsyer as his wingman.
I dont put asterisks on les but it is a star driven league ...and les are usually won when you have multiple legit stars ...especially now.
only Hakeem and Billups can say they led their team to a rang in a similar fashion and honestly its debateable who was best Piston ...really only Hakeem and Dirk won that way.
Duncan also deserves praise for 2003(?) with his hof support being so young ...

Careful... you might bruise your fat hands from how hard you're mashing the keyboard.
it's the biggest nba contract ever, guess.
That was probably the second deepest roster of all times. After the spurs last le team.
pistons were deep too as were 2008 celts who were derp but also had legit stars
I know it's one of the biggest contracts, I was just wondering if he took the whole amount possible or if he left some on the table. I don't know how much the new super-max is or how it is calculated.
