What are you, 2? Magic declared back2back at the parade in 87. Kobe called a 3peat in 2000.
Hahahaha, that don't count son. I'm talking about an in-season proclaim right after winning the WCF and knowing who your rival will be in the final.

Easily, Duncan calling the championship before the '14 finals.

Nobody else did anything remotely close to that in the history of the league.
Bird and Duncan are the two best players in history. Bird called his teammates sissies in the 84 Finals and this was the result:

The most alpha move in NBA history was Ron Artest, who was deemed a nut job at the time... goes into the showers to find Kobe after that beat down in 08. Tells Kobe, "I'm going to come to LA and help you beat them." Two years later we're repeating and Artest is blowing kisses to the crowd after sinking a dagger 3 pointer. That's Alpha.
That was a beta move, bro. He went from all-star to role player.

It was an interview after game 6 of the WCF and they asked him something along the lines of what it feels to be back in the finals and Duncan just decided to guarantee the LOB
He said we have 4 more to go and we will get it done this time, his words exactly. That is a guarantee to me.

Media wouldn't/won't touch that with a 10 foot pole. The nerve of Artest going there to ring and then ringing over Pierce's dead body.

    Just shows ta go ya.

Most Alpha move isn't even a basketball play:

Because I know any other player in the NBA would flinch if the bat was close by, and try to run away

He never would have done that post 1960's. Nobody was playing defense either. 169-147 was the final score line. Good chance it was something akin to a publicity stunt.

Jerome James of the Sonics saying about the Spurs in 2005: "We don't give 'em no respect ... none." with a look of anger and hate in his eyes. It was truly frightening. I watched from behind the couch, hiding from his quintessential alpha maleness.

I'm pretty sure Kobe never asked for a prenuptial agreement in the first place.

It's widely reported, Kobe's parents wanted him to get a prenup. Kobe vehemently disagreed.

You mean other than Jason Terry getting the trophy tattooed on his arm prior to winning his only ring in 2011?
