Why are they going under the screen on Red and Paul? ing stupid.
Yep, I would say we are in good position being only down 4. But the way we are playing, it won't surprise me if the Clippers just go off in the 3rd and we come out looking flat and tired. It's a simple matter of the Spurs waking up and coming to play. It looks like Game 1 all over again out there right now.
Why are they going under the screen on Red and Paul? ing stupid.
Splitter and Duncan were by far the worst players on the floor, tbh..defense was terrible, especially those 2 in particular, both unable to switch on screens and leaving shooters open several times..
Diaw has been terrible on D, too, but at least he's contributing on offense..
Paul has 0 points with Green covering him, hopefully that continues in the 2nd half..need to get Danny more shots, get him going, he only has 2 shot attempts, 1 of them forced in transition..
Manu and Parker have been fine, this is what they're going to do at their respective ages, hit or miss..
He should be getting his pushed in. Terrible coaching decisions so far.
Duncan +Splitter + Green: 1-10 FG. That's 3 starters playing like ass.
The bench has to defend better vs crap like Austin Rivers, Glen Davis and Turkoglu
Positives: Parker still not playing all that great, despite 12 points (10 points? Whatever. More than Game 3.), Timmy not playing well, Manu being hit and miss, Spurs missing open shots, Clippers making the Spurs work harder on defense and hitting a lot of shots. Yet the Spurs are down only 4.
Tiago has been absolutely charmin soft on the offensive side of the court as well. Dis needs to man up tbh.
OMG Jalen Rose commentary BARF.
This one reminds me of game 4 at home against Miami in 2013. Chance to take a 3-1 series lead but blow it at home. Long way to go though.
And the missed free throws, again. Really sad
When Manu gets on a turnover roll, it always reminds of the Romo play in game against the eagles.
It gets comical like, "are you seriously still trying to throw those passes. just ing stop already!"
We are about 2-3 wide open Re and CP3 three pointers from being down by 10+ tbh.
I swear these s are gonna get blown out in the 3rd qtr.
We've got this. Not worried.
That's kind, I am glad to see him being aggressive but the mistakes are of the boneheaded backbreaking momentum turning variety. Or am I being too melodramatic?
TIAGO SPLITTER IS A CAREER 6ppg PLAYER IN THE PLAYOFFS.
I really dont understand why people think he's going to score
0 assists from Tony, -6 while on the floor. Started the game well but has been 1-7 ever since. Other starters(TD, Green, Splitter) are 1-10. Paul/Red alone have outscored our entire starting lineup. Can't believe our starters are playing this bad in a home game.
Hopefully Pop will use Beli like he did last year in the playoffs: play him some in the first half and then bury him in the second half giving Leonard and Green big minutes.
finally my cable is back. lets go spurs
He set the tone when he decided to start the game with Tony on Paul. The players can't make a worse decision than that tbh.
That's why we call him Split-gina
If TD repeats his first half. Gameover
Clippers strategy of getting physical pretty smart. Spurs don't know how to respond.
