Relax a little... geez!
Relax a little... geez!
It's 210-878-7467.
They had practice and flew to New York.
Just give him a damn shot of the new-and-improved A-Rod's energy juice and tell him to get the back on the court.
Yellow Pages ? Where are you going to look under ?
Try Bad Ass Mutha's.
rejoicing? no
Laughing at anyone who dared argue against me? yes
anyone who thought Manu could go another season at 100% is a total idiot or blind homer. the guy is losing his athleticism and resistance to injury as he ages, and his style of play desperately needs both of those things to be effective.
this was no surprise.
The Spurs have been said to have interest in players who each have a salary greater than $12 mil this season. You don't realistically get there (outside of moving one of the big 3) without signing Horry to some kind of bogus inflated contract. You don't show that interest without Holt being willing to take back a deal big enough to put team payroll in lux tax territory. Dealing Ginobili doesn't make much sense, unless they think he faces a steep, sudden decline over the next year or two.
Hurts himself worse and then flunks a drug test.
Yeah, I did the same. I don't buy the "he had a sore ankle prior to the All-Star break" talk the Spurs are saying now. Manu looked fine.
I think either they had Manu on cortisone shots so he could play through the pain and then examining during the All-Star break showed something worse. Or perhaps Manu hurt himself at some point during the break.
But obviously, the main hope is that CIA Pop is up to some complicated trick.
Hope he comes back this season.
Which one?
As for the ones they won during the first part of the decade. How exactly did LA build their squad? Let's see:
Kobe basically refused to be drafted by anyone other than the Lakers forcing a Vlade Divacs trade to Charlotte.
LA took advantage of the Horry-Ainge scuffle to pry him away from the Suns without having to give up much. Horry was as crucial a player as Kobe/Shaq during their three-peat years...
Shaq forced himself out Orlando. LA picked him up as a free agent (though they can't be faulted for this entirely).
They basically landed Pau Gasol for nothing... well... for peanuts...
And Fisher used his daughter's medical condition to 'screw' the Utah Jazz (again ending up in LA).
Not exactly the type of moves that would indicate that LA's F.O. has been any better than the Spurs' F.O.... If anything they show that they required several breaks in their favor to be where they are... Sure, the Spurs were lucky in having landed Tim Duncan... Someone always wins the draft lottery, and fortunately for the Spurs Tim was on the board, and no one could pick ahead of them.

The Spurs didn’t announce Ginobili’s absence on their trip until Monday when they were already in New York. Though Ginobili scored 32 points in a loss to the Toronto Raptors, the Spurs’ final game before the All-Star break, team officials say he had been experiencing pain in his right ankle for a while.
If Manu is out i want a bounty for Kobes ankle!!!
It's somewhat comforting that it's not an illness but still
Get well Manu!
Yeah its the strangest situation i've ever seen sports wise in a long long time.
Who's "they"?
other players in the NBA can make clutch shots too, in fact, with other players, clutch shots may not have even been needed
Chill dude....
