Could Javtokas be the cheap, defensive big the Spurs can get to start next to Duncan? He lacks skills be perhaps he can be the rebounder and shot blocker the Spurs need to add to the mix?

    Hmmm ....
You think Pop has given up on him?

What's up with his free throw shooting? The Wiki says that he improved from 35.5% to 54.5%.

He is a nice center I always like him. He is better then Mahinmi, Bonner, Oberto, Thomas. When Eurocup was still on and Dynamo was play their last game before they was lost it was said that he plans on NBA this summer if he is given a chance either with Spurs or another club.

I sometimes wonder about the sheer amount of time we, the collective members of ST, have spent talking about Javtokas and whether we will ever see him in a Spurs uniform!

I think playing next to Duncan might hide some of his weaknesses. If it's possible, I wouldn't mind bringing him over.

would of been good like 2 years ago when they failed to bring him over trade him for a second round pick or trade bait with bonner and maybe cash for a 25-30 pick

Hmm...you know, that might work, and I don't think you'd need Bonner. Javtokas expressed the desire to come over. Another team might see how Scola is tearing things up and think the Spurs draft solid, under-the-radar role players, why not give Javtokas a shot. Throw in some cash considerations...any other year that wouldn't be enough, but considering the talent available in this draft compared to Javtokas' ability, it could be feasible.

it would be good to have Ivan Drago on our team, 2000psi elbows to intimidate opponents.
    wouldn't pass the drug tests.

Spurs will trade his rights to someone this summer to dump a contract- possibly to Houston to back-up Yao.

Whats his IQ like, we know he's athletic and can block shots, rebound and dunk... but I'd be interested to know if he can be somewhat of a defensive co-anchor with Duncan and play the Rasho role.

    See the motorcycle reference.
That is really no indication of his basketball IQ.

Ben Roethlisberger had a similar motorcycle accident...

When? I know KBP said so, but I really need a more reliable source. Please tell me you have one, so Pop can have Ian and Javtokas to back up Timmy, and forget about Gooden, Sheed, or McDyess.
