Well this isn't a surprise the Spurs got knock down by the Suns.
The Dallas series win was more like a "gift" for the poor Spurs fans who still supported them despite the sad season.

I still remember the Spurs talking of 2010 project like it was a sort of "second coming" and now I laught about it.

The Spurs projected to bring height, athletism, and youth they got Dice, Jefferson and drafted Blair.
They gave max extension to Manu and gained confidence in Hill project.

But still the Suns (not the best Suns team in this decade I believe) swept us.

Now we're talking about trading Parker wich seems objectively the only way to "rebuild" around the (very) aging Duncan.
This is simply the most ridiculous thing given to a team like the Spurs who used to be proud of their "BIG THREE" few years ago.

My thoughts:

Now there's still hope concerning the last championship project with Timmy if:

- Manu don't start games next year:

The thing is people say we're better with Manu running the point I say yes if he comes with the second unit and finish the 4th quarter.
But I say no with him being the PG and Parker as 6th man.
To resume Manu is our best playmaker. But Parker is our best PG.
This is a different thing.

I thing this is the main reason we lost against Phoenix.

- Tony don't play this summer and refind his 2008-2009 season level.

This guy is special. You make him special.
Because he can score 55 points one day the next day you say he is a sucker.
Maybe because he simply sucked this year.
But I know he's special and can bring to the Spurs a new le.

- Tim playing (very) limited minutes during RS.

But the most important thing is weither Blair or another Big Man(Splitter ?) can really support Tim defensively and Offensively.

- Can Blair gain total trust in POP ?

- George Hill must turn into this 2 guard who can consistantly bring defense and scoring.
Against Dallas he was brilliant against the Suns he wasn't the 4th man we are still waiting.

- We need real 3 point specialists.
It's sad when you realize you miss Finley over Bonner and Mason.

As for Jefferson and Dice well I didn't care much of Udoka and Elson either...
(even though I know Dice was great aginst Dallas.)
