Mayo, Mushrooms, Broccoli, Jack in the Box and Burger King tacos and ing black licorice...

I swear, being a black licorice eater I face ostracism and snarky comments all the time. You try offering black licorice to someone who doesn't like it (82% of people) and they'll stare at you like you offered to their sister. I don't know what it is, but black licorice sure do bring it out in people.

I'm even embarrassed to be seen buying it in the grocery store. I'm made to feel uncomfortable as if I were buying a tube of lube.
That's cause black licorice sucks balls.

Ever try Zambooka (sp)? It's a black licorice flavored alcohol. F'ing nasty.

When I was 11 or 12, I heard a report on the news right after Easter-time about a study that suggested licorice lowers sperm count. I just thought to myself, " ."

I used to think my wife's love of cheetos covered in y nacho cheese with chili was weird... but then I met a few other hispanics who liked it.

Speaking of which, wtf is up with putting chili on everything? Meat... sure. But fruit? Candy? I just don't get it.

Ah, Sambuca, thanks. I had that on a deployment to Cuba. Friend gave me a shot and I was like, "What is that horrible flavor?"

Did you have the black Sambuca?

That is colored diesel fuel. The white I can stand only if it is chilled.

That's a pretty common misconception about sushi. Some of it is raw like tuna, yellowtail, sea urchin, roe, etc., but octopus, crab, giant clam, salmon, eel, etc. is usually cooked but served chilled. And yes, people eat raw cow; it's called steak tartare and it's delicious.

Are you telling me you don't like a nice thick rare steak? You're definitely eating raw cow in the center of that.
Also Carpaccio (with olive oil and real Parmesan cheese) - delicious!

As a counterpart to the other thread, what's something you love to eat that almost everyone else you know hates?

    My picks would be
    - octopus
    - raw oysters
    - menudo
I love octopus and raw oyster. No idea what menudo is but hey, 2/3. Aren't we a match in heaven

And I would eat ANYTHING from the sea.
