LOL Mexican futbol....... win a fucking international championship already.... only Pachuca (with 8 southamericans in the lineup) won something. If Chivas can't win the Libertadores... then it'll be official that mexican soccer is a joke.
You do mean the Mexican league right?

There's no argument that the league is for the most part... bad, but it's definitely not the worst.

And your argument is pretty stupid.

Chicharito scores again in the Community Shield game. What is that like 4 goals in 4 games?

Oh and the best part is that he scored with his face

    And gio had another assist

The second half of that game was awesome. He had a couple more chances, especially when Berbatov had it at midfield and failed to through-pass it to Chicharito who would have been one on one with the keeper.

Pretty soon Chicharito will need his own thread

lol I just saw the replay earlier, and I was laughing.. hahahah I thought it had bounced on the grass or something at first, but that was some funny shit right there.

He still scored though, and it was better than if he hadn't, which is what he probably would've done with Mexico.

I'm glad for both of them... especially Chicharito, I really didn't expect this much from him this early.

Apparently, if Manchester United can't get Ozil, their second option is Andres Guardado...

Wow that would be great and to think Aguirre refused to give big minutes to both Guardado and Chicharito.

    smh

btw ozil already pretty much said he's staying in germany until his is contract up, and if he were to leave wasnt real madrid the frontrunners especially with kaka's injury? thats good news for guardado.

Chicharito scores but Mexico chokes it away by giving Xavi space......beautifully slotted ball to Man City man Silva who curls it for the goal.

/\/\/\/\ goddamn, he and chicharo have already done more for their clubs than Vela and Gio have in their years in europe.

lol I know, and is it just me or are Vela and Gio the cockier ones? Well.... Juarez might be cocky... anyways they gotta step it up. Pressure is on them

Yep I agree that Vela and Gio are cocky players, as opposed to Guardado, Chicharito, Rafa, etc... I think the difference is that they (guardado, chich, and rafa) had to work for their right to play in Europe, while vela and gio were handed spots on big clubs from a very early age. Suddenly Giovani hasn't looked so great without Ronaldinho and Messi on his side. And Vela should take that damn smile off his face every time he misses a clear chance at goal.

I remember people on here hating on Juarez during the WC

Also I wonder if he's playing as an attacking mid or if he has more offensive freedom with Celtic (havent caught the games) cause he rarely scored in Pumas or with the national team. 2 goals in 2 games is nice.

I've watched every game he's played in and he's one of the best players on the field. At Celtic they play him as a center mid but he's all over the place, basically a box to box midfielder.

2 goals in 2 european matches, meaning He has scored in a Champions league qualifier, and today in the Europa league qualifer. This was his 4th or 5th game with Celtic so 2 goals in 4-5 games. Still good for a CM though.

Actually saw on ESPN yesterday that in 66 games with Pumas he had 0 goals. Which makes 2 in 3-4 games( didnt he only play like 2 mins in one game bc of the Spain friendly) that much more crazy

Hopefully he keeps playing well and can make a leap to a bigger league.

Can't deny he played awful in the WC.
Because of the yellow cards and suspension vs Uruguay? Thats his game, these goals are nice and all but his strength is the toughness and grit he brings. European teams wouldnt have looked at him and picked him up if he had actually been awful.

Just want to say fuck Jonathan Dos Santos.

Despite being less talented we need players on the team like Orozco, did anybody see his interview when he was told he was on the list for the Ecuador/Colombia games? Almost started crying out of joy and out of the pride he has of representing Mexico. We need that not fags that dont show up when theyre called up because they have "obligations" with their clubs. Gonna need a whole lot of luck to ever make a WC squad for Brasil or Spain.
