    Lakers would be fine if Kobe wasnt such a got. They still have the best frontcourt in the league and Kobe is still an elite SG. It just makes no sense that he insists on shooting more than both his bigmen combined. Someone on that team needs to stand up to him, noone on that team or coaching staff seems to have the balls for it though.

    It's evident that Kobe is aiming for the All-Time points record, disregarding efficiency..wise of him, tbh, he realizes that the media, nba fraternity and casual fan disregard FG%, and only consider points..

    Lakers are still a contender, by default, due to the rest of the West..

    If Kobe realized that he's no longer a consistent go-to guy, and deferred to Bynum and Gasol more often, they would still be scary IMO..it would help if Goudelock received more minutes and LA added another bench player, too..

    It's either he simply doesn't want to be apart of a Pau/Bynum lead win or he panics on the road, and resorts to chucking. He's very good at home tbh, actually does a good job of distributing and scoring.

    Don't know what's his deal but has gotten old.
