I see you still pumping LJC.

one thing this shows is that we need to stop leaving our prospects in Europe, and get them over to develop in Austin. Nikola Militunov comes to mind right away.
LJC did not get any better with Tony's french team.

He has the athleticism and length, but something just seems to be missing mentally. Bertans also played in Europe, got injured the same time as LJC, but improved his game. So its more at ude and mental than anything else.

I don't think LJC has looked the same athletically as he did before he got hurt. Though he looked better in those highlights than I've seen him look recently. I'd like to see him get a three-year training camp deal before summer league just in case he does well. When he looks good, he looks pretty good. He just hasn't looked good enough.

saw the game last night and LJC just looked clumsy and awkward to me. Where was the athleticism?

I didn't see the game outside the three highlight vids on Youtube, but I thought he showed great mobility on those blocks. The first two had him switched onto a small and moving his feet before denying them at the rim. The second two were help defense.

But as I said, I don't think he's ever recovered what he used to have.

Murray with a terrible game. Shot 4-19

Forbes otoh continues to dominate offensively with 30pts and 6 threes

Garbino with yet another pedestrian game where he's unnoticeable.

He looks like a different player in those videos: Jumper looks better, he was aggressive on offense, and demonstrative on D. Hopefully he can keep it up!

I think he's a great candidate for one of those two-way D league deals next year.

He's inconsistent still. Honestly, he needs to pretty much have games like this all the time to be a legit NBA-caliber player. His per-36 numbers are 14/8/2/1/2 on 55-percent shooting. Probably needs to get that up to 20/10/3/2/4 to make it. Still, for a 16th or 17th spot next year, it's not the worst thing to lock him up just in case a year in Austin show well this summer.

I can't believe exactly how bad Arcidiacono has been. I knew he didn't have the physical tools to make it in the NBA, but I thought that wouldn't be a problem in the d-league.

Worth remembering that he's still young... but he definitely needs consistency with games like that.

Looked like the player from the Summit game who'd disappeared.

Not if he couldn't stick with the Pels - which surprises me.

He was really bad with the Pelicans. Jordan Crawford otoh just got signed for the rest of the year. Would've rather have given him a shot instead.

Casspi is the guy we need. Fathead and Simmons are playing like dog .

Does anybody know how Cory Jefferson wound up in the Philippine League? Not that I think he was getting called up, but that just seems like a strange move this late.

So in addition to Blossomgame, Olivier Hanlan seems to have signed a d-league deal with Austin. I'm pretty peeved that the team didn't just give them two-way deals, since the whole reason for having those contracts is so guys could make a decent living at the lower level, but whatever; they're there. Those two and Brimah seem to be the headliners, though White will likely spend time there, and LJC ended the season pretty well.

I agree. Hilliard and Costello make no sense.
