The Lakers are stacked...the rich just keep getting richer...it's like playing the Yankees...
He did show that he can still play some great defense.
Richard "Dickless" Jefferson - 14 million
Ron Artest - 6 million

That's just adding insult to injury... fucking 14 mil :-(
collusion. the NBA felt it had no choice but to get the Lakers and Celtics back as champions. the plan worked pretty well.
The strength of Blair's suction cups isn't just something to be seen. It can also be heard. Fields told me that "the noise of DeJuan grabbing a rebound is crazy." Blair has even wowed himself with this, saying, "When I pull it in sometimes, it sounds like the ball pops."
Artest actually showed up for a game....
Believe.
What's funny is there is actually a documented story of one of these guys seeking out a naked man...and it wasn't Jefferson.
Seems like everyone just goes into All-Star mode or 1st team defense when it comes against the Spurs. The decade of kicking ass got a lot of teams butthurt.![]()
Manu actually did pretty good. Artest is still strong as heck, but he has lost that lateral quickness. You can get around him and then it takes him a while to catch up. Hill on the other hand was slowed by Farmar actually. Farmar is quick and so its hard for George to get around him like he was doing against Fish in the first half.
artest has adjusted. he recognizes people go by him, since the scouting report is to pick and roll him to death so he cant lock you up, but he just uses his long strong arms and gets deflections and then steals.
Phil benching Fisher is what won the game for the Lakers. After that the defense got settled and Artest got into his groove.
