wow, he is 6,9
big body like Lebron
you guys should try to get him
not sure what his salary is but the Spurs could pretty much draft the same player in Stanley Robinson and on a rookie contrat - of course if you don't give up much then now you can use the pick for other need
BTW...Spurs don't have the contracts to make it work. If the Hawks were to take RJ as an expiring they would have to get a third team involved.
could trade Jefferson for Williams and Pachulia... that would give the Spurs a hard-nosed big and a scoring 3/4.
Williams Would be A Nice Pick Up... But doubt it will Happen..
I fancy the lad. He could really help this team now in their attempt to win their fifth le, but I think the lads will be just fine. The yobs are rounding into form and looking quite fit, if I dae say.
Let's hold orf on the offseason talk until the season is over though, mates. I can't wait to see what the ole coach has in store for the next game and rounds!
Toodle pip!
Frankly, I find some of the linguistics across the pond bobbins, but to each his own, I dare say. Looking forward to a sensational match tomorrow and for another championship scapa. The Finals are coming up shortly, so it's time to get back to business.
Toodle pip!
The Hawks aren't giving away a good big on a relatively cheap contract to get rid of Williams.
I don't like Williams for the Spurs. Not a good fit imo. Not to mention he is a big time under achiever.
I honestly think the Spurs are better w/ RJ than Marvin Williams.
Marvin was drafted by the Hawks on potential, which he has yet to realize. How much potential did they think he had? Enough to draft him over Chris Paul.
Marvin is an underachiever who should have stayed at Carolina at least another year, and was only drafted because UNC won the le that year.
There's a reason they're shopping him.
No thanks.
I think RJ would work well on the Hawks side
