Tue Jun 1, 1:16 PM CALGARY (CBC) - Police have arrested one man and are searching for a second, as they investigate the case of a Calgary Transit bus that was stolen in broad daylight and taken for a joyride.

Early Sunday morning, two men drove the bus away after the driver left it idling at a fast-food restaurant in the 7200 block of 52nd Street S.E. while using the bathroom inside.
Surveillance cameras on the bus recorded two men in the act, one laughing as he recklessly drove the bus, hitting at least two parked cars during a half-hour joyride.
The bus was later found abandoned on Penworth Close S.E.
Jeffrey Keizer, 20, of Calgary, was arrested at a home not far from where the bus was discovered, police said. He is charged with theft over $5,000. The transit bus is worth about $300,000.
Keizer's arrest was the result of a tip from a member of the public, police said.
Investigators are still looking for the man who drove the bus, and are asking anyone with information about his iden y to contact police.
