I'm now starting to feel Jurgen was a bad hire. This guy gets praised for being an asshole in the media to his own players and yet can't seem to put together some decent tactics against teams.

Our players were definitely more talented than Canada. And it doesn't matter which of our players he has at his disposal because the tune is always the same.
I will say this, he could probably coach them to a win over Algeria but really thats setting the bar extremely low.

Maybe. For all Jurgen's talk of "What have you done lately" he sure does conveniently ignore that Jozy has been the most consistent US club player not named Michael Bradley for the last year.

From everything I've read it seems Jurgen wants Jozy to be more aggressive when he doesn't have the ball, such as helping out more on defense and making more off the ball runs for 90 minutes....pretty much everything that Gomez is willing to do.
For the record, you won't hear me complaining about Herc getting starts.

Hope that he brings a good assistant coach with him. Klinsmann should just stop being a manager, he's . He's a more of a motivator than a Manager. If he gets someone like Löw as assistan coach and he does nothing but motivate the players like in 2006, it's not a terrible decision, not a very good one either.
