How were they only able to offer him 4.3 mil a year? Did they have to renounce his rights to get rid of the cap hold so they could sign Bosh/Bron?

Just heard from Udonis Haslem. He has turned down far larger deals from the Nuggets and Mavericks . . . and will be back with the Heat!

Miami are getting even more stacked every day.
Really nice job by Miami keeping him. Cool of Udonis to stay for less money.
But I will say that, just like with Bosh and LeBron, the difference might not be as much when you factor the no state taxes thing in Florida. More on more, it looks like that has been key with helping make up the difference in money.
Texas doesn't have state taxes.. so that wouldn't be the reason..
he is 6-8, the same as lebron.......
what a waste of money IMO
naw, the reason is he doesn't wanna lose in the first round with the Mavs......
Ok. Didn't know.

Haslem on Gasol, Bosh on Odom.
I'll take those chances.
Odom takes himself out of games and he'll play against Bosh in practice.
