Samuel L Jackson?..............
Nick Fury

if you watch any of the Marvel superhero flicks (Ironman), you need to stick around after the end credits.
I wonder is regular newspaper comics will be made into films? Calvin & Hobbs?
I've got faith in Joss Whedon, as he's both written good comics and directed good movies.

The uber-reclusive Bill Watterson would never allow it.
I know I saw it.. I just hate the guy. He's pretty blatant about jumping on any movie just to be the highest grossing actor of all time (see: Star Wars). Whattttttttever
Interesting. I still wonder how the movie industry will pull off a "Justice League" movie as well...
Uhm, actually, Marvel Comics has used the image of Sauel L Jackson as Nick Fury since they started the Ultimate line, years ago.
It'd be alot tougher for them to pull off a Justice League movie. The Ultimates line rebooted the Avengers for a more "modern" feel, and as such updated the storylines.
Not sure how the relatively paper-thin characters of the Justice League would translate. Only Batman, Green Lantern, (and in some comics, Supes) are fully realized characters. Martian Manhunter would just confuse people, Hawkman is lame, and Wonder Woman, while necessary, usually is pretty boring.
If they did a Justice League movie, they'd have to find a way to take Supes out of the story early, and have the team free him, leading to an end battle.
yeah, in pretty much every major Justice League battle Superman gets taken out first to make room for all the other cast to contribute... otherwise what's the point![]()
Touche. But the guy still bothers me.![]()
Hey, that's cool with me. Just letting you know.![]()
This can be cool if only Hulk was the bad guy for like half the movie, fucks up the entire avengers, then they convince him to join up against the Masters of Evil or something.
Baron fucking Zemo needs some on-screen time.
i wouldn't mind something like the ultimates where the grey hulk rips shit up and the green hulk saves the day
I'll admit to somewhat nerding out over Whedon at the helm.

Darkseid Is. (the way to go for that.)
Are there any other long-time Marvel Comics fans who feel they sold out?
Whedon /thumbsup
Hopefully they ship the Hulk's ass to outer space at the end of this movie so Hollywood can quit coming out with a new one every 3 years![]()
A third different Hulk in 7 years? Even more retarded than rebooting Spider Man just after 8 years from the last. Can someone say cash grab?
You ever read any of those comics I mentioned?![]()
That's kinda how the Ultimates storyline goes. Banner's locked up most of the movie because the Hulk is just a raging beast, then a bunch of aliens come, and they let out the Hulk as a last resort. The Hulk then goes ape-shit eating aliens and pretty much tearing everything apart.
How so? You mean with the movies? Nah. Just a different way to tell a story. And nothing they could do would be as bad as the Spidey Clone saga.
Oh, come on. One More Day made the Clone Saga look like a good decision. At least with the Clone Saga you had Osborn behind it all, rather than, "It's magic, we don't have to explain it."
I avoided the entire "One More Day" saga. I heard about it and said to myself, "No, this story will just piss me off." Storylines like that are what turned me onto Image and other publishers.
I haven't kept up with all of Marvel's latest storylines. Too many "world changing events!" lately. (House of M, killing Cap, Skrull Invasion, etc etc)
In the comic banner's locked up cause he willfully injected himself with the serum to become the hulk. I'm also pissed they never explain how he went from raging beast to super badass from ultimates 1 to ultimates 2
I'm more pissed at Ultimates 3, and how little sense it all made.
