If Rod goes somewhere else as a HC, he's gonna fail and be a coordinator again within a couple seasons.
That one would hurt.he never wanted to leave lovie in the first place but it sucks with the strides they've made on defense this season
If Rod goes somewhere else as a HC, he's gonna fail and be a coordinator again within a couple seasons.
If we lose Rod that would be icing on the cake
Hel never be a hc again he's going to tb to coordinate their d according to sources
jobbed tbh, if dez had fumbled it would have been held up. dez ing grabbed the game by its balls by sheer will lefty curse has doomed gb anyway
yeah, dez made one of the better efforts I have ever seen, manhandled that , don't know what else he could have done tbh. PAY THE MAN JERRY
Dez is too talented for the rules..

Not upset at the loss at all tbh, they played a good game today. I don't blame the ty call for the loss..I blame moving away from the run in the second half, and the DeFumble. Either way, we went from being expected to be one of the worst teams of all time, to second round of the playoffs, with an O-line that emerged to top 3 in the league with an average age of 24. Here's my thoughts on the roster looking forward to next season:
QB - Romo - Finished with his most accurate rating yet, at 3,700 yards, 34 TD's / 9 INT. Should benefit from more time off and the back shouldn't be a concern at all next year. Expecting a big year next year as well. Weeden is absolute garbage, and should be out of a job soon. We need a reliable backup veteran in the offseason.
RB - DeMarco has one flaw, and it was on display today. He's a great running back overall, and finally proved he can play a full season w/o major injury. He's going to demand a load of money, and as much as I'd like to go into next year knowing the RB position is solid, I'm not taking him over Dez. Getting good RB's in the draft are possible in nearly every round, so we should be ok if we do part ways with Murray. Randle should see a big jump in production with more touches.. , Avante and his fat, slow ass would probably net 1000 yards behind this line.
FB - Tyler Klutts was serviceable, but the Cowboys don't really use a lot of lead block schemes and honestly don't really even need a FB. He'll probably be back though.
WR - Dez MUST be resigned, that franchise tag bull . Pay that man what he's worth. Can't him because of bad contracts Jerry inked 5 years ago that they are still feeling the impact on. They also need to start planning for an extension for Terrance Williams too, he's a legit "Alvin Harper" to our "Michael Irvin" in Dez. This year Williams ran better routes, he flashed speed they say he didn't have coming out of Baylor, and he had some clutch catches down the stretch of several games. Devin Street had a year to learn the playbook, and I expect him to push Beasley for 3 next year.
LT - Tyron Smith. 23 years old. All-Pro. Locked up for 8 more years. Nuff' said.
LG - Ronald Leary is only 25, and is probably the strongest OL the Cowboys have. He was solid this season, and I expect him to return. He wasn't beat very often, and routinely stood up some of the better opposing lineman.
C - Travis Frederick is also 23, and is gonna be even better next season. Center is solid for the foreseeable future.
RG - Zack Martin. 23 years old. All-Pro. Go ahead and sign his 10 year deal now.
RT - Area of need in the draft. Free is not very good, and is the oldest starter on the line. Parnell is ok as the backup. The Cowboys should look for value in the 3rd round this summer if the best available is not a defensive lineman with the 3rd pick.
DE - Major area of need. The Cowboys need to generate some sacks and get some pressure on the edge to take their game to the next level. Spencer was solid, but not great. He's getting older, so his successor needs to be drafted this year. D-Law is gonna be better next year as long as he stays healthy in camp, so with a top rookie prospect and a group of late picks spent at DE, I expect this to become a strength for the Cowboys next season.
DT - I talked about Crawford early this year, but he has shut me up. He is great at pressuring the QB, and is tall enough to routinely swat passes. Hopefully he can boost his sack numbers next year.
LB - If Lee doesn't get a season ending paper cut during media day, I expect this LB corp to be scary next season. The Cowboys got some choices to make, they have a good mix of LB's, and can't afford to keep all of them. Rolando McClain started the year looking like one of the best LB's in the game, but faded as the season went on. Either way, he played smart, and hit hard. He added some size and toughness to the group. Ro is good against the run with his size and strength, but has also shown he can drop into coverage and defend the pass as well. Bruce Carter excels in this area too, but I do not believe the Cowboys can afford both. Do you risk it and pay McClain over Carter in hopes that he doesn't become a head case again, or deals with more injuries? Hitchens proved to be a great pick in the 4th round, and is going to be a one-two ball hawk tandem with Justin Durant next season. Cowboys will draft at least one LB, they always do.
SS - Barry Church didn't have that "wow" play this year, but he was all over the place. He is a reliable tackler, and is quick to make a move on the ball. He led the team with 77 tackles I believe he has earned his spot in the defense.
FS - Not a big fan of Wilcox, or the converted athletic player project approach. For every nice tackle he made, he took a poor angle on another. We need an upgrade here, if one is available in the later rounds, do it. Would be nice to spend a top 3 pick on FS IMO, but D-Line is a bigger need. Maybe next year.
CB - Hopefully we have seen the last of Mo'. Sterling Moore and Tyler Patmon combined get a fraction of the pay of Claiborne, and played well enough to be brought back for another year. Scandrick quietly played some of the top defense on the team, and was reliable throughout the season. He played with balls, and didn't put up with dirty bull from the opponent even though he's one of the smaller guys on the field. He got into more scuffles this season that anyone else on the team. Seems meaningless, but it fires up the team. Something needs to happen with Brandon Carr, he has been absolutely horrific this year. He has probably the worst contract on the team at this point IMO as well. Nearly every big play in the backfield this year was with Carr out of position playing catchup. Aikman claimed he held Megatron to a quiet game last week, but that's bull , I don't recall seeing him do anything special. Restructuring his deal should be one of the forst things Stephen Jones addresses this summer. The Cowboys will add a couple of CB's in the last couple rounds IMO.
Specialists - Kicker is lined up for the several years. As good as Dan Bailey is overall, he gets iced pretty easily. I wouldn't have much faith in him from 40 with the game on the line. Chris Jones was good enough at punter. The Cowboys may look to someone else to handle kickoff and punt returns, Dwayne Harris regressed big time this season. He spent way to much time moving laterally this season, he just didn't see the field like he did two seasons ago.
Anyways, it was fun this year fellas, looking forward to next season . What do you guys think about the state of the roster moving forward?

i think im going to kill myself, tonight, shouts out to my spurstalk fam, its been fun yall but i cant take this no more
I have just one thing to say to the Cowboys fans on here:
Enjoy Callahan fine tuning that oline
What O-line?
Can't really troll a fan base who's team exceeded expectation to the level the Cowboys did this season tbh.
Joseph Randle arrested, Marijuana or something along those lines. Police responded to a domestic dispute
I can see this guy getting an ass whooping in the locker room from Dez or Jason Witten next season..he's not gonna last in the NFL let alone life averaging two cases a year..
How much will it take to sign Dez? I'm hoping around 5 years/$60M.
not sure if serious
I'm nt. He gonna break the bank. Then The Tape! will surface Ray Rice style. We're fcked

"The Dez video does in fact exist, but it may just be a rumor" - Dezperate sports media
Wtf is that? "We're just reporting that there might be a video that could ruin dez bryants career, nevermind the fact that if it does exist and there's anything super incriminating on it that the police would have arrested and charged him with something already...."
vague story, sounds like bull , hope it is, hope dez sues the out of some people for slander.
also reading that the video is from 5+ years ago.....we all know he used to be a crazy er......dude's changed.
