Yebda with a "Panenka" vs Inter today
Dude ALWAYS plays like he's playing rugby
Gattuso taking care of business today
Now they gotta take care of tottenham
Inter can take the scudetto away with a win. There's no way Milan regain the top spot if they were to lose.
Holy
Game of the year between Napoli and Lazio
These Milan idiots need at least a point today vs Roma to win the Scudetto.
Alvarez sold to Inter. I remember you mentioning this kid DAF, let's see if he turns out to be a real playmaker.
Let's hope he adapts well to Europe, there're many talented players that didn't make it in Europe for things that have nothing to do with football.
There were rumours about him going to Arsenal too, I would have loved for him to join the gunners, they play the style that Batista is trying to implement in Argentina, it would have been beneficiary for the NT having him play under that style the whole season.
P/S: There are also rumours about Lamela joining Roma.
LMAO, I bet he's doing all he can to get his ass off of that sinking ship.
Switching the subject to Pastore, when (if ever) would you like to see him begin making more starting appearances on the NT? I haven't watched him play TOO much, I don't get much Italian football in per year, but I have a decent understanding of how he plays. We all know we need more playmakers (and defenders and goalkeepers for that matter ), but why do you think is the primary reason for Pastore not playing more regularly on the national team...is it that coaching doesn't believe he's ready yet, or do they simply acknowledge him but do not believe they need his skill set?
I think that's the one. Batista wants to play with a 4-3-3. The best position for Pastore to play in is as an "engache" in 4-3-1-2. Enganche is that "1" between miedfield and the forwards. Pastore lacks defense to play as one of the three in miedfield and he isn't a natural winger either to play as a forward, I think that's why Batista keeps him in the bench.
Pastore could also be useful in a 4-2-3-1, as the guy in the middle of that 3 men line between the defensive miedfielders and the forward.
I really like both formations, I use them all of the time in FIFA 11. And Argentina could easily use either since the back 4 remain the same and we have Mascherano, Cambiasso, and Banega to choose from for the 2 defensive mids. Then, both Messi and Pastore could play in the middle or both could be used, with Pastore on the middle and Messi on the left wing. There are so many combinations the team could use:
HiguainThese two are my favorites, and I think the first is particularly strong. Pastore with Aguero and Messi on his sides is a of a group, they could all create dangerous plays for each other.
Aguero - Pastore - Messi
Higuain
Aguero - Messi - Tevez
Agreed, I would also rather play a 4-2-3-1 because it's more offensive minded than the 4-3-3 (at least with the players that Batista is playing at miedfield, if we had Iniesta and Xavi it would be a lot different).
