Most electronic bands suck live. It's hard to bring what is done in the studio to the audience.

I've been on a huge Bee Gees trip lately. They are such a fantastic group of songwriters. And the songs they wrote for Saturday Night Fever were massive! I'd have loved to have written just one of those songs.

The BeeGees are great songwriters...they were greater in the 60's...
if you haven't already-look up their 60's British invasion era songs and you will be amazed at their songwriting...
a lot of people think/thought that they became famous with the Saturday--disco thing...but they were great before that already...
check out their FIRST greatest hits album from the 60's to start...
Yes I am including that along with their disco era music. Their 60's stuff is just as good as their disco songs. Lonely Days is probably my favorite song from that early period.
Their disco stuff is also amazing. Say what you will, but there isn't an artist around now that wouldn't give their left nut to have a massive album like Saturday Night Fever was. I mean it was "the" album in the late 70's. I personally never understood the backlash against disco.
