Does anyone else wonder whether the Spurs knew about the divorce before they offered TP the big money long term extension?
Im sure they did, but I doubt it had any effect at all on the extension....
As much as well all like to believe the Spurs are all one big family, and to some extent they may be, but the bottom line is that its a business.
I know I'd be pretty perplexed if my company based their decision to extend my contract on personal family matters.
