Begin Again - 2/10
so i watch avengers 2...should be called the age of bull ..
Begin Again - 2/10
I also saw San Andreas this month before Jurassic World. I say 5/10 only because I've already seen the Day After Tomorrow and 2012, which San Andreas is a combination of minus the rapid climate change (i.e. frost).
Batman v. Superman
6/10.
I was surprised by the production value since the budget is supposed to be >200million.
Affleck was a decent Batman. probably the best Zach Snyder movie tbh.
Last night with my Mother [main character is Polish]
"The film is inspired by The Long Walk (1956), the memoir by former Polish POW Sławomir Rawicz, who escaped from a Soviet Gulag and walked 4,000 miles to freedom in World War II"
Inspirational but also very well filmed. You feel the heat, cold and despair. Possibly best of all :it's a WW2 film pertaining to slave labor and it DOESN'T INCLUDE JEWS. Even my mother admitted she's surprised Hollywood released a film without Jews.
4/5
A head's up:::TCM is putting on their "Summer of Darkness" --- scheduling film noir classics. It's a fabulous showcase of actors, film and production working splendidly around a code.
I liked it.
Mad Max: Fury Road 7/10
ing overhyped, overrated movie.
It's a good movie, just dont see why people are falling on their heads about it.
The car chases were pretty kick ass but the movie revolved around and inside a ing truck. lol
Good flick.
A Million Ways to Die in the West:
Everybody I've ever talked to about this movie told me it sucked...but I didn't think it was too bad. Overall, a 6/10.
The part where Neil Patrick Harris pulls that huge dollar bill out of his jacket had me.
The Station Agent
8/10
Very interesting characters with a plot that kinda goes nowhere, which I think was the point.
and you're also a woman
Mad Max: Fury Road
What's the number for "disappointing"? That's my rating. It wasn't very good overall.
That's what you get for torrenting that .
I watched it in the theater, ing movie was a 10/10
Agreed.
These movies are meant to be seen in theaters. Otherwise it's just kind of an OK movie.
i watched mad max when it came out and thought it was cool but nothing special... then over the course of the next week i kept hearing about how the movie was supposedly amazing and the best thing since sliced bread. didn't really understand it. even went a second time to see what i had missed, but my stance on the movie didnt change
Sure, I remember it,,,and just about that way.
Watched Dusk till Dawn again last night. I had forgotten about all the Clooney greatness in that movie.
Clooney? What about Selma Hayek?
I remember going to see this and for the first half it was awesome then it was wtf.
Great soundtrack as well. The song, "After Dark" will never escape the tie in with Hayek though.
"Chappie" Not funny, not exciting, not original, not intense, not even that interesting.
5.5/10
And rightfully so.
I haven't even finished watching this movie yet.. From what I've seen 2/10. I found it mostly annoying.
Ya i saw it in the theater in IMAX or 3D or whatever.
Thought it was okay, pretty good. Was worried it would not have much of a storyline but the plot was okay.
Do not see what the fap fest is all about.
Too many of the fight scenes droned on.
Too many meaningless shots of The Daughters too. I mean scenes where they didn't really say or do anything, camera would just keep jerking around and showing them doing not much of anything.
