Pretty interesting Euorleague game coming up today against Unicaja Malaga, the team with the best record in the ACB right now.
The matchup between Bertans and Kuzminskas should be quite a battle. Kuzminskas is one of the few wing players who can match Bertans' size and length and he is a bit more athletic too (6'9"/10" with a 6'11" wingspan).

He had a very rough game yesterday. Picked up a couple of fouls in the first quarter and never found his shot afterwards, most of his threes were quite forced. But he also had this highlight play which was started by him getting a steal on the other end:
Would Bertans cons ute an upgrade over Matt Bonner at this point?
^ not that bonner is a great post defender, but he can at least hang with some PF not named randolph. Bertans seems nowhere near that if they plan to use him as a strech 4.

He didn't really have any highlight type of plays. Made 4 threes in the first half but was pretty quiet the rest of the game.

Looked like a of a game from the highlights. Is it me or is our boy putting up lower 3% numbers in recent outings? Anyway, eager to seem him here next year.
It was a pretty insane first quarter for him. He put up 7 threes (including an end of quarter heave) and made 3 of them.
By the way, his percentages in the ACB are now 56/42/90 for the season. His Euroleague numbers are much worse though (32/36/78).
That's in 24 ACB games and 11 Euroleague games so far.

i'd shop his draft rights to phoenix. they've got the rights to bogdan squared, and if anybody is better than the spurs at milking a corpse of a career... it's the suns training staff.
