I've seen him at the last eurolegue game of Caja laboral...but no news about surgery (if there has been one....).
Trade them all to the Eagles. Chip Kelly loves torn ACLs
Poor guy, I was eager to see him over here. How long does the rehab usually take with these injuries? Long shot for next year's training camp in 6 months?
He took about 9 months (June 2013 - March 2014) to get back when he had the same injury two years ago. But there was also this quote which shows that the Spurs were cautious as usual when it comes to dealing with injuries:
"Despite the fact that rehabilitation is very good, the request to delay came from the San Antonio Spurs. Instead of six months, he will be missing four to eight months more. Probably in March he will be ready and able to play," said Partizan coach Dusko Vujošević.
If the Spurs really care about him, they should bring him over even though he's injured. Give him a three- or four-year min deal and let him heal next season. He's just going to wither away overseas.
Still think they'll leave him over there if he's willing, though.
Well that's good news for Anderson next year since both our foreign prospects are hurt or playing like crap.
Davis Bertans travels tomorrow sunday to the US to visit the specialist who treated his previous injury

I don't understand this...he's making fisioterapy but hasn't made at now a new surgery? chance he can avoid one?
I have read that you have to wait a couple of weeks to perform the surgery in order to allow swelling and bleeding to decrease.
Plus the physio is needed to rebuild muscles preemptively, in order to avoid a complete loss of muscle mass post surgery.
Bertans to undergo knee surgery:
http://www.baskonia.com/davis-bertan...n-san-antonio/
Google translate:
The baskonista forward will undergo surgery by Dr. David Schmidt.
The player Laboral Kutxa Baskonia Davis Bertans will be operated on Friday April 24 in San Antonio, Texas, to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee that occurred on March 26 during the game against Emporio Armani Milan Turkish Airlines Euroleague.
Responsible for performing the surgery will be Dr. David Schmidt, the same specialist who operated the previous injury that occurred during his stay in Partizan Belgrade.
Once the surgery is known more accurately the timing of recovery and rehabilitation treatment that will start the player baskonista.
Oh good the hyped player is done before he could play an nba game
It must be great as a Euro team when your players' rights are owned by NBA teams. They're willing to have the best doctors in the world do the surgery on your players, and even foot the bill too.
any news about the surgery? all is gone well? time for recovery?
The surgery was succesful, no specific time table mentioned:

The baskonista player underwent surgery last Friday and started postoperative treatment.
The player Laboral Kutxa Baskonia Davis Bertans and recovers from knee surgery on Friday in San Antonio, Texas, by Dr. David Schmidt. Surgery to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered during the course of the match played at Emporio Armani Milan, he passed with great success and under the expected parameters.
The player is recovering from surgery and has begun a regular post-operative treatment for this type of interventions.
I still say bring this guy over if he's within the projected recovery time. Let him rehab here and play with Toros.
Barcelona rumored to sign Bertans for next season :

I wonder if that means that Deshaun Thomas is leaving them. If he stays that wing rotation is way too crowded for both guys to get decent minutes.
Thanks Mr.B!
Well, let's hope the kid can come back with bionic ACL's or something. I am debating whether or not he should get a bionic finger too though.
Looks like he's not going to Barcelona either now. Either his injury is too much risk for a buyout or perhaps Spurs have an inkling that they might need to bring him over this coming season...
dejuan blair had 3 30/20 games with no acls as a big man in the league.................
Where is he playing now? Just curious...
