    After Walcott, Arteta and Santos have horrible free kicks, RVP shows them how it's done!

    Good win for Arsenal. A clean sheet would have been nice but I'm sure they'll take any win right now.

    RVV with a penalty goal. Newcastle seems to have dominated possession but the Spurs haven't lost control. I think the Spurs will have the better second half since Newcastle has been going 100% all game. At some point they are going to run out of gas and the flood gates will open. At least I hope lol.

    Another rather poor performance from Arsenal (apart from the opening 25 or so minutes), but at least they got the win.
    Good thing they still have RvP - for this season at least ...

    Arsenal are sorely missing Wilshere in the midfield, once he gets back I think it will bring a lot more stability into the team.

    True, and getting Vermaelen back would be nice as well (hopefully, that won't take as long as getting Jack back).
    But this squad is flawed beyond anything these two could possibly fix.

    i prefer to have the veterans like giggs come off the bench with chichirato/valencia/evans/carraghar or carrick whatever his name is...

    a backline of evra/smalling/rio/vidic ...would replace evra/rio for either jones/rafael

    mf = young, fletcher, sung, nani ....

    strikers = rooney, berba

    lol no homer here, but why Berba? at this point he's behind Chicharito and Welbeck on depth chart, he hasn't done anything all season, Cheech and Welbeck on the other hand have 3 goals each..

    balotelli

    A cross from Milner and a side-footed finish from Balotelli, who puts his shirt over his head to reveal a t-shirt that reads "Why always me?" Brilliant.
    Balotelli is booked for revealing his t-shirt, which seems ridiculous to me, especially given how funny it was. He didn't remove it, just pulled it over his head, a la Paul Scharner yesterday

    Seems kinda harsh he got booked for that, if he didn't have a shirt on underneath I can understand but it was pretty damn funny.

    isn't it a rule now that the lifting/removing of shirt is an automatic booking?? I think lifting your shirt to reveal a message of any kind might be a rule. Not really deserving in this case but if this in fact is a rule it removes any subjectivity on the referee's part.
