worth taking a look. I'm liking it. I thought the tablet interface (metro) would suck using a mouse but no it's pretty decent

runs smooth on a 1Ghz 1Gb RAM computer. You have an old computer or netbook? install this baby on it. Will run smooth

this windows version looks like a winner. Imagine having a tablet and being able to run pc games on it, or office or visual studio torrent, xbox games

Asus May Put Windows 8 In Next Eee Pad Transformer Tablet
    http://www.pcworld.com/article/23020...er_tablet.html

Let the Windows 8 hardware rumors begin.

According to Notebook Italia, Asus is eyeing Windows 8 for the next version of its Eee Pad Transformer, a tablet with an optional keyboard and trackpad dock that props the device up like a netbook.

mmm I don't think I agree yet. I find myself using my tablet more and more. I still miss the keyboard most of the time. But I don't think they are going away.

Something needs to replace the keyboard and touchscreen is not it. Maybe a great speech recognition, but you need your privacy. So a glove? some kind of new age keyboard that can come out of the tablet? something that reads your brainwaves?

that is why I love that Asus Transformer. I have it, but have not purchased the keyboard dock. they are expensive and usually sold out

    Detailed Consumer Preview on Engadget:

    http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/29/m...d-impressions/

I think I will hold off for now, I have no desire to run all programs fullscreen, or be inconvenienced by not doing so. Not a huge fan of that option in Snow Leopard either.
