Not only did he have the game-winning shot, but he locked down on defense and blocked 2-3 shots in the final minutes to keep the Spurs in the position for the game-winner.

All credit to KL and Parker, but I don't understand how the cavs missed that. KL bolted straight for the corner, and they just left him. Clutch shot to be sure, but epic fail on defense.
They overhelped on TP's penetration because if they attempted to cover him one on one he'd likely make a layup or secure an and-1.
Kawhi is the future...Spurs have GOT to hold on to this guy..

Kawhi had a choppy first few months to this season on the offensive end, but with the rash of injuries he's been given a chance to shine and man, is he ever brilliant! Shining like the Sun!
Of course, his D was never in question, that is second nature to him.
I predicted last year that he'd be an All-Star in his 4th season, and I think he's on track for that, 5th at the outside.

What's the over/under on times the announcers will refer to Kawhi as a "defensive stopper" tonight?
I wonder if he will loosen up a bit and throw down some big dunks. Part of me hopes he does, but the other part of me wants him to play how he normally does...
Watching this kids Rising Star video right now. Love the way he said he doesn't want to hang out or talk to other vets in the NBA, that he came out just for himself.
Yeah, I'm sure most other players would be wanting to hang with all the superstars but he just doesn't seem to give a haha.
