That's a terrible analogy.
do you bring all these hilarious pictures to parties?
They suck here, so they would suck there too, tbh.
That's a terrible analogy.
But if I had the means to build my own Porsche, maybe I would. I suppose you think Porsche should then sue me?
Made me think of this song:
Do you think Porsche couldn't sue you?
mouse just posting the stupid photos and lame replies he's supposed to.
I bet he's a real pain in the ass at parties.
I don't know. But it would be a thing to do, just like it would be a thing to support them on it.
If they have patents on their designs and you copy them, the answer is yes they could.
•A U.S. patent was approved February 16, 2010 for the design of a Porsche Panamera convertible.
http://www.insideline.com/porsche/pa...confirmed.htmlPatent infringement consists of the unauthorized making, using, offering for sale or selling any patented invention within the United States or United States Territories, or importing into the United States of any patented invention during the term of the patent.
When patent infringement happens, the patentee may sue for relief in the appropriate Federal court.

Of course a pirate would think it's a thing to do.But it would be a thing to do, just like it would be a thing to support them on it.
It's really more of a thing to support piracy, tbh.
Seriously? You would have a problem someone BUILDING THEIR OWN PORSCHE?
, I don't even think it was that good of an analogy to piracy, tbh. It's more like slapping a fake Nike logo on some generic shoes and wearing them around. I suppose you'd cheer Nike suing the out of someone for doing that as well.
lol corporate teabagger
I don't give a what someone else does that doesn't directly concern me, whether it's building the copy or Porsche suing them over it.
I also wouldn't have a problem with Nike suing someone for putting their logo on some crap quality shoes.
lol Long John Spurminator
Hey it's good to see you have convictions. Glad people like you are willing to boldly stay out of the way in the face of frivolous and overreaching claims against regular people.
lol still thinking I give a if you call me a pirate.
<<<< PIRATE
Better call the cops!
Regular people like you stealing movies?
rofl the convictions of a pirate.
You aren't stealing from me. No need for me to call the cops, matey.lol still thinking I give a if you call me a pirate.
<<<< PIRATE
Better call the cops!
if you're copying their design and mechanics, then you should be sued. that is their creative product. if you've copied it, then you should be sued. you can take bits of pieces of it and make it your own, but if you've taken the whole model and simply re-created it, then they should be able to sue you. it's copying. it's a copyright violation.
so if you see someone mugging a person, you're not calling the cops because it didn't affect you?
you sound like an athiest...
I'd probably help out the person getting mugged while you are on your cell phone calling the cops.
I can also assume that when you see someone illegally downloading a movie on their computer, you are calling the cops?
You sound like a dip .
What happened is people signed contracts with Porsche that said any IP they come up with is the property of Porsche while they were working on prototypes and design (I have signed a similar contract for my job). Since Porsche paid them a lot of money, they signed the contract. These people now get no recognition, credit for their hard work - maybe a larger bonus at the end of the year regardless of whether Porsche licenses their IP to other companies. What if a few of these people either go to a new company or make their own car on the side? These people can now be sued because of the stupid world we live in, even though they are working with designs and concepts they developed themselves through years of hard work.
Another one bites the dust
http://www.prefixmag.com/news/fileso...sharing/60803/R.I.P. FileSonic & Uploaded.to
So you have no doubt heard about the insanity surrounding the shutting down of MegaUpload, particularly the wild story about how the file-sharing website's founder was arrested in high fashion. Well, this has all clearly spooked other file-sharing services, including FileSonic. If you go to its homepage, you're greeted by a message that reads: "All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled. Our service can only be used to upload and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally." Not only that, but Uploaded.to is no longer available for use in the U.S.
Wow. Do you think anyone else will fold in light of the ongoing witch hunt? And could a major player like Mediafire go under?
wait a second, you pay for your movies and music?
lets see what happens to mediafire...based in texas..lol
http://blog.mediafire.com/2012/01/me...torage-market/

If Mediafire goes down, I might just end my life.
mother er! I had just reupped with Fileserve!
I am so far out of the loop on this stuff. If I want to listen to tunes I just use spotify and I have netflix for movies. Mouse used to try to show how to get movies and then zip file and unzip but I never got it.
