It's all good. I think I posted something on it yesterday but it might have gotten lost in all of the other information. Hope that helps.

Done Deal
Does anyone have the Asset report from today???
I know...I've been waiting all day for it.
Here is the latest on WR Jake Oliver (Dallas/Jesuit)... from Gerry
1.He cancelled his February 18 junior day plans with Oklahoma State.
2.He called Arkansas, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Oklahoma State and Ohio State to let them all know...
3.Oliver is down to Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Texas
Someone on another forum asked what happens if Tyrone holds off and we offer JT and/or Cody and one or both commit. Seems very possible and I don’t see anyone addressing it. Anyone know the plan?
Add Jacorey Warrick to the JD2 list. I really like Warrick at corner.
Is he really the Kendall Sanders of this class??
Add J.J. Gustafson to the JD2 list. One of my favorite juniors in the state. Strong as an ox (literally), mean as hell and elite feet.
I think there are parallels between Warrick and Sanders, but I Warrick reminds me more of Duke Thomas, maybe Corey Coleman. They're about the same height and have long arms.

24/7 reported that both OL Darius James and LB Naashon Hughes picked up offers from LSU today. Hughes also added South Carolina.
Looking good.
WR Devin Lauderdale has committed to Texas Tech. He will still be taking visits though.
Damn.. So they offer Darius James but not Ishmael Wilson? Someone instigate this to him so he gets mad. ha
Don't like that one after the two of them saying they'd like to play together and us not offering Hughes.
We should have offered when he came in. Hope it doesn't bite us.
Updates for JD2. DT Kerrick Huggins has said he's solid to A&M and will not be attending. DE DJ Ward is still saying he's going to try and make it down and WR Robbie Rhodes is a "maybe."

Update on five-star S Su'a Cravens...saw two different articles on Rivals today that link him to Texas. He's said that he has spoken with both Mack and Akina (not sure how many times) and he does want to take an official to Texas. He's also friends with Mack on Facebook which tells us there's a serious interest there as these coaches don't add random players.
"My official visits I know I'm going to are Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Texas, and I'm not sure where my fifth visit will be to."
LSU is doing like Bama and offering every OOS guy worth a damn. Surely not even half are commitable offers.
So no Cali schools? We may actually have a shot if its up to OOS Schools. I always fear the pull of the in state schools when recruiting other states.
I don't see a single in state or West Coast name on Craven's list. Very encouraging. Texas can't go wrong with Cravens or Marcell Harris. I wouldn't be surprised if Kameron Miles had to wait awhile for an offer.
Oh yeah.... another good point that I overlooked, no west coast schools at all. Salivating!!!
All of the in-state schools and Washington (Lupoi = Polynesian) have offered and he's been to USC for sure, but it doesn't sound like staying close to home is a priority right now. Things obviously change for all prospects as their recruitment gets closer to the end and they start to really think about leaving home. He may visit Nebraska in the spring. Hopefully the staff will feel confident enough in their defensive numbers that they can go balls out for him and Harris and hope to land one.
It may be a bit of a reach on my part, but I'm still not convinced that DB Kameron Miles is being looked at as just a safety. He's already a tad bigger than Jinkens at 16 years old (he may already be 17) and could end up like Cobbs who's big enough to be an OLB, but can also cover Big XII WRs from that position when necessary due to his speed. He's a great talent so I'm hoping the lack of DB numbers doesn't affect him directly, but interested to see what will be said about him after JD2 and if Diaz has a specific plan.
More quotes from QB Tyrone Swoopes (HornsNation):
"As soon as we got out the car, we were walking out of the parking garage," Swoopes said, "and my little brother looks up at the stadium and was like, 'Oh my gosh, I want to go to Texas!' "
"I had already liked them (Texas) a lot from the first time I went down there," he said. "I don't think I could like them any more than I already did. They really want me, and it would be a good opportunity if I did go there."
"He (Mack Brown) just told me that he wanted me pretty bad to go down there," Swoopes said. "They need a quarterback, and he thinks I can help make something big down there with the guys they're getting next year and could get in my class."
"Coach Harsin said I'm going to be compared to Vince Young and Colt McCoy and Cam Newton and all them, but he won't expect any of that from me," Swoopes said. "He'll expect me to be Tyrone Swoopes, that's all."
"I don't really know (about a timeline for a decision), honestly. I don't know," he said. "I'm going to talk to my parents about everything the next couple days. I guess we'll see."
