OL Trey Hopkins is out for the year with a stress fracture in his leg.
No Rhodes according to 24/7.
24/7 reporting that Texas has made contact with RB Corey Clement of Glassboro, NJ this week. He's currently committed to Wisconsin but obviously their new hire will be key in whether or not he decides to open up his recruitment. That's all for now.

HornsNation reporting that JUCO QB Nick Marshall is supposed to visit Texas in January.
There isn't an official visitors list out there for banquet yet, but it should look like the following assuming all of the commitments show up. No commitment is still in the playoffs except for S Erik Huhn and he's been injured all year, so he could still attend. TE Geoff Swaim may not be able to make it in from California and DT A'Shawn Robinson will be officially visiting USC.

WR, Jake Oliver, Dallas Jesuit
WR, Jacorey Warrick, Cypress Falls

Forgot to mention that Mack is not allowing any sort of media coverage at banquet outside of the Longhorn Network and he says he will wait to name a starter for the Alamo Bowl.

Justin Manning is announcing today at 4PM CT.
Ricky Seals-Jones is announcing Monday at 10AM CT
FYI
Im seeing Justin Manning to A&M all over twitter. And RSJ is an A&M lock. Sickest class man. Congrats.
Just heard RSJ has told some close people it will be A&M - this is not internet rumors but from family (I got cousins in '13 and '14 classes and they know guys from camps).
Manning about to announce, still be shocked if not OU, we'll see...
Im glad he picked Ags, between them and OU, I rather he goes to a team we don't play. I stopped hearing about him a long time ago and it seems like Robinson jumped him in the rankings but Im sure him and Robinson are 1a and 1b best DT in the class in Texas.
Pretty surprised - thought he was OU bound. 4 of the top 20 DT's verbally committed.
Pretty crazy:
"Texas A&M now has 5 DTs in its class. Four of them OU offered. #Sooners still without a DT commit."
Manning, RSJ and Hoza all in one week, when is last time Ags had recruiting week like that? Top player in state for '13 and '14 days apart.
Now I know how the Ags have felt over the last decade watching Horns recruit.
Gotta disagree Mex. Ultimately on surface having Sooners suck seems great. But you need your conference to represent in the end. That has been Texas' problem -- all the money grubbing at the expense of conference partners and you are stuck with teams OK with that and they can't be compe ive with other top teams. Texas needs OU to be a top team.
After watching Robinson at the opening I think he is clearly top D-lineman in state - actually close 2nd in state behind only RSJ IMO. Hopefully we can cling on to his recruitment. Thankfully USC has stunk it up this season as well b/c he was really hot on them.
Also, for those wondering about how many guys we have signed and attrition and all that this is what it's looking like for our class:
Currently 33 commits (hopefully 34 with RSJ)
Early enrollees who will count back to last season:
WR Jaquay Williams
LB Reggie Chevis
ATH Alex Sezer
DE Jordan Points
LB Kenny Flowers (juco)
LB Brett Wade
TE Cameron Clear (juco)
OL Jeremiah Stuckey (juco)
8 out of 34 will count back towards last season. The Aggies can count a total of 9 to 11 back to last years class.(not sure) That now leaves the total of commits at 26.
These are the guys that are committed but not expected to make it in:
WR Derrick Griffin (grades)
DT Kerrick Huggins (grades)
DB Victor Davis (grades)
QB Kohl Stewart (MLB)
Now after all this you're looking at 22 commits being counted towards this year which makes a lot more sense for those wondering.

BTW Sumlin is going after A'Shawn hard if that hasn't already been posted.
Not yet you don't; give it a decade, though, and you will.
Apparently Texas has reached out to a third JUCO quarterback. This time it is Jake Waters out of Iowa Western. He led Iowa Western to a NJAA National Championship a few days ago. From what I've heard, he was down to Penn State, N.C. State and Kansas State. He threw 39 touchdowns and three interceptions this past season.
