I was hoping we would wait on manning before offering another dt. I have a good feeling about him especially if Jake decides to come in for the spring game. I wonder why prevot wouldn't make it Sunday....hopefully it's not cause he likes LSU more.
He thinks Prevot is doubtful, and he will probably go to LSU spring game the following week.
Sounds lke LSU is in the lead at this point. Eric N over at IT thought it was about 50/50 Texas/LSU before news he would likely miss Texas spring game. Not sounding good.

Don't forget he played basketball up until a few weeks ago and is now running track. I was actually encouraged how well he did considering there were drills he'd never even seen. He beat out all Texans not named Kincade.
I'm not worried about an offer to Taylor for quite some time. He seems to be pushing the issue more than that staff is saying he'll commit to UT on the spot. Madison is a school Akina will visit because of the talent they produce, not necessarily because UT wants to offer Taylor. DT is a position where the staff can afford to be patient.

Brian Perroni Samples has a really bad ankle injury. Not sure of severity but looked real bad. Same ankle he had previously broken

Prevot told OrangeBloods he'll be in Austin on Sunday. He'll able to attend both spring games because LSU's is the day before. Good news.
RaShaad Samples broke his ankle at the Nike Camp today. Tough break for the kid.
He tweeted it wasn't broke, who knows though heard it looked bad.
