The ending minutes with GSP was awesome television, really cool to see GSP go dark like that.

Interim Welterweight Championship bout: Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit
    - Condit, next to Diego, is probably my favorite personality...he's a fighter that can change the momentum of a fight even when things don't start well - and he doesn't give up. But the more I think about it, Diaz can take his punishment and dish it out for 5 rounds. Condit's best chance is to KO in the 1st or 2nd, something that's only happened once to Diaz in 30+ fights. Thinking about Jackson's schemes, Condit won't really engage until the 2nd while trying to set him up for a TKO in the 3rd. But this thing will definately end in the 3rd, Diaz by RNC.
Heavyweight bout: Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum
    - Nelson has the advantage in the standup and grappling, no way he's stupid enough to get caught by Werdum - and if he does then he'll just squash him.
Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce
    - Kos will probably win, but I go with my boy Pierce no matter what.
Bantamweight bout: Renan Barão vs. Scott Jorgensen
    - I hate to pick against Scotty, but Barao is like a little tasmanian devil. Overall skillset vs vicious instincts...I don't think this one's going to a decision. :/
Middleweight bout: Ed Herman vs. Clifford Starks

Diaz vs Condit is going to be sick. I'm really torn on who wins that fight. I could see it going either way. The only thing I am sure of is that the winner probably loses to GSP.

Champ Georges St-Pierre wants Nick Diaz fight as much as he wanted a le shot

"I want this fight with Diaz so badly – as badly as I wanted the le shot when I got down on my knees," St-Pierre today told the UFC.

That was seven years ago at UFC 56, when his career looked a whole lot different than it does today. Of all the punches he's slipped on his current path, this one has hit hardest.

What's more, he can't do anything but sit and wait to settle the rivalry.

"I was (crushed) when I had to pull out of this weekend's fight hurt, but I am determined to get back to the octagon as soon as possible to fight this guy," St-Pierre said of Diaz. "He needs to hold up his part and beat (Carlos) Condit on Saturday to make this fight happen."

Seems like UFC is doing a passable job of creating a new image for Diaz; in this video (although not for the UFC) is the most comfortable I've ever seen Diaz. Plus with these UFC Primetime's (2nd aired today on FUEL) is getting a lot of buzz in the media at showing another side of Diaz.

This card is not getting much buzz and i expect a PPV buyrate only in the 200 thousand range. Seems to be missing a big co-main event that would have got the card more pub and i also think a lot of people don't think Condit has much of a chance even though the odds makers have this almost dead even..

    Main card

Interim Welterweight Championship bout: Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit
Let me be clear, Diaz can easily lose this fight. He can be wild and not very technical in his stand-up. Het gets through that because of his cardio, chin and pace. He better be more technical and less wild with Condit if he is going to win. I see Diaz wearing Carlos down late in the fight and stopping him in the 4th or 5th only if he plays better defense than he has in the past. Condit can counter him in rounds 1 or 2 and has the power to hurt him. Diaz gets past round 2 and with his pace, Carlos's chances of countering him go down. So i say Diaz TKO 4th or 5th round and he gets the GSP Super-fight..

Heavyweight bout: Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum
How did Werdum get back in the UFC and in a co-main event again?? Nelson by UD or KO..

Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce
Koscheck UD Pierce is not ready for the step up in compe ion.

Bantamweight bout: Renan Barão vs. Scott Jorgensen
    Submission..
Middleweight bout: Ed Herman vs. Clifford Starks
Gotta suport the old school TUF guys.. War Herman.. Submission..

Dana White will kiss the ass of anyone who makes Fedor Emelianenko look bad, because for all his business smarts Dana White is occasionally a petty, grudge-holding prick.

Diaz/Condit is a badass fight. There's not much more can be said about it.

GSP is going to be out for a long time. It might have been smart to have another WW contender fight as the co-main event because GSP says he is gone until Nov or so..

I predict 2 or 3 tough rounds. Very very intensive. Condit will capitalize on Nick after he will knock him down or hurt badly.
    Killer will kill

The fact that Diaz shook Condit's hand worries me. Even more worrying, Condit saying they'll have to carry him out of the ring if he loses - I believe it, Condit is gonna have to be put to sleep to lose this. And now we wait........
