It really sucks still that they lost Lewis and Feliz. I really thought Feliz showed some great stuff and would hopefully by next year be an absolute machine. This just slowed that whole process down by a good season, maybe longer. And Lewis of course is the calming factor for the playoffs.

Dempster I think will end up being fine, but Oswalt needs to get his crap together, because the Rangers will need him at some point in the playoffs. I'm confident he won't be starting by then, but there is going to be a game or two that a starter melts down, and he is going to have to be ready to come in and pitch a good 3-4 innings of shutout baseball.

Oswalt is actually starting tonight in place of an injured Darvish, so this is his chance to prove something to this pitching staff. I think Feldman is going to be our emergency button if a starter goes out there and struggles, but Oswalt will be ready I think. You're right about Lewis though, he's been lights out in the playoffs in seasons past. He will definitely be missed.
