haha yeah although I think it should be someone other than Jeter, considering he had two hits. It would have made more sense with someone like ARoid who went 0-4 with a K.

If he can consistently have control the way he did tonight, he's gonna continue to be nasty.

That 94 fastball mph that tails so far to the outside.....not sure I've ever seen a pitch like that. Ibanez was like "wtf was that" after he struck out in the 7th

Yu has watermelon balls right now, he's at his best when he's let guys on base and absolutely must get outs to avoid getting screwed. Great quality to have in a pitcher. I suspect things will change once teams get used to facing him but his stuff has looked good lately and I definitely didn't expect him to be this good this early. Safe to say at this point that debacle of a start in his first game can be chalked up to nerves about playing in the majors?

Yeah. Yu was awesome last night. He made me a believer yesterday. Loved the way he got out of that mess he made. He sealed it for me when he did. You can see his swagger now. He didn't have that the first or second game. I thought he was really gonna throw some heat in the 7th when that fastball was clocked at 96. He's never gone that high. I'm ready for some 100s. And it was good to have Beltre back. Good season so far.

    Oh, and Angels

Great overall job by the pitching staff today. Great job at the plate by Kinsler and Beltre. Today we officially won our 6th straight series. Love it. By the way, here's a nice video on Yahoo about the most under-appreciated team in baseball...geez..wonder who that could be?

Darvish has been impressive, to say the least. Especially in how he pitches after getting guys on base. With the exception of that very first inning, he has been absolute money at getting outs with men on base and in scoring position.

The Rangers are falling back down to earth as expected. Meanwhile the Phillies are starting to get their act together. Utley will be back soon which will really help the O.

I'm glad Harrison made up for his last horrible start.

Did anyone watch the game where they panned over to the dugout when someone apparently squeezed cheese. You see Andruws react then the whole team sprints to the other side of the dugout. They pan back a couple minutes later and only Yu, Maddux and Wash are standing where everyone ran from
