As an educated consumer of insurance for my company I know that the cost of insurance rises or falls depending on the level of insurance coverage, specific items you do or don't cover, deductibles, maximum out of pocket, etc. that you choose.

If the policy is going to be changed, the premiums will pay for the covered items and treatments in the future contracts.

Not enough to hit my radar or for any underwriter to have ever cited it as a reason for any premium adjustment one way or the other, tbh. Again, ironically, considering the national fervor. Birthing babies also insignificant, btw (premature births notwithstanding).
