Someone doesn't know how old Bowen is.
At 34 Bowen was beasting on Billups in the NBA finals. Stop this already. It's more of a financial trade. If SJax ever scores a basket for the Spurs it's gravy.
Someone doesn't know how old Bowen is.
we traded away a guy who has no balls for a guy who has a couple, yet ppl here dont like the trade? wtf go watch equestrian if u like watchin rj prancing up n down the court doing nothing
It's not really about RJ's contract or the future or whatever.
RJ never fit here. He didn't fit on the court. He didn't fit off the court. He didn't fit.
He's a nice guy. He tries to be funny. He pretends he bought into the philosophy. I'm sure he'll thrive somewhere...but it's not in San Antonio.
So, the Spurs get rid of him. Get rid of a first rounder because they have a lot of youth sitting around already. And they bring in a guy who thrived in the clutch for them in the past, who was liked by everyone in the organization.
If Jack hits one big shot for the Spurs, it's a winning trade.
If he does nothing at all, it's a wash.
Holy. .
In a good way.
That is all.
Spurs need a big though.
Exactly
To those saying Jax is a s of himself, since he left the Spurs he's mostly been on awful teams. I'm sure he'll magically look spry and alive when he's playing with Tim, Tony and Manu again.
Holy I just read this! yeah! Welcome back Jax!!!
I'm sure y J is probably saying the same thing.
We can only hope. Worst case scenario, this trade is a wash... nothing lost or gained.
He'll thrive in San Francisco, at least off the court.
Bring the toughness back capn jack
I think the Spurs could have done this trade more as insurance if Manu gets hurt.
We know
Gonna go home and crack open a cold one!!
Knowing the Spurs re-upped RJ is still a head-scratcher - to this very day.
9 years is better than nothing! We've all wanted JAX back!
AWWWW SHYT!!!
Damn, I'm in Port A for Spring break, just found out. We just got gangsta!!
But not as much as we used to. Lakers got smaller and who can guard Durant anyways?
Duncan
Leonard
Jack
Manu
Parker
There's a smallball lineup I dont mind putting out there.
Oh my god, I've been dreaming about this day since...since he left!
We stacked, my silver-blooded brothers and sisters!
We stacked!
The long awaited return of Captain Jack! Let it rain threes now. I've got a tall cool one in my hand right now! I love this day!
Now we nneed someone to brush up on some Jackson tape, and see if this guy is washed up or just apathetic
Good point. Small ball just got a lot more potent. In fact, if Jack pans out, the Spurs might have just replaced RJ and Bonner's spot in the clutch-time rotation.
