Jackson's ego won't be an issue, at all..the issue is whether he has anything left in the tank..
but they also get a first round pick it looks like.....booooo
EDIT: acutally the 27th pick isnt that big of a deal..
love the trade!

A late 1st round pick is worth less than the $11 mil RJ's getting in the final year of his contract.
Sucks we also gave up a first but its one less year as well. 10 million in possible cap space is probably worth a first rounder.
Scratch that.
Who cares about the first round pick. The Spurs have enough youth coming in already. They got rid of RJ ... AND they got Jack. I don't care if they gave up two or three first rounders.
We lost a pick!? Send him back!!!!!!
I'm happy Jax is back, but really I'm more happy RJ is gone.
It's worth giving up the first just to get RJ off the team. Pop won't be tempted to play him any more.
Are you saying RJ will now enjoy an upgrade in lifestyle?
That's cold.
I thought so. Straight up deal, seems too much like robbing Warriors. Oh , well. Spurs have talents in Europe to add to their roster next year.
Start Parker, Jax, Leonard, Duncan, Splitter
Play Manu as the 6th man, Neal in the Kerr role
That's like the '03 championship team
double entendre
TBH
Oh and "SJAX YEAH, COMIN AGAIN TO SAVE THE MOTHER IN GAME YEAH"
Still a good trade. Got out of the last year of RJ's bloated contract without wasting the amnesty on him and getting nothing. At the same time, got a player who we know isn't going to shrink in big moments.
First round draft picks are worth about $3 million. The Spurs used a first rounder to remove about $10 million from their books? Great trade. Even if Buckets never wears a uniform, it's still a good deal.
JEsus crhisto amore mio. If this is true ill my pants and not take a shower for a few days.
CJ and JA were our true 1st round draft picks recently. spurs dont know how to draft in the first round unless its the #1pick. im not worried about the first round pick.
WojYahooNBA: Miami, Boston, San Antonio will be aggressive suitors for Chris Kaman should he inevitably be bought out of Hornets deal, sources tell Y! [via Twitter]
is Sjax healthy? Don't think he will play tomorrow anyway but would be good to know
I'm quite sure RJ's numbers will rebound in GS.
In any case: woohoo!!!!!
Still a great trade.
I was just hoping the 1st round pick is not for this year's draft. I was holding out hopes that the Spurs could grab a young big from this draft.
Oh well. Still a happy day with SJax back in the fold.
Let us all bow our heads and "make love to pressure".
Maybe the Spurs are really confident they can sign Lorbek next season and consider him better than what that draft pick is worth. De Colo also a chance to come over.
