I'm just going to go ahead and assume that, as human DNA is loosely based on the Engineers', the similarities are close enough that the pod will work (with a bit of tweaking). I just also went ahead and assumed that David would be able to direct her in his own reparations.
The Engineers are 8+ feet tall. How is their equipment supposed to compatible with a 5-foot-tall woman? Or maybe another hologram will come around and conveniently show her how to work the pods.

That is exactly how I felt. Felt like a lot of that was cut short to spend more time on cool visuals and effects. It felt like the movie could have been like 5hrs long, or should have been in order to develop properly.
IMHO, it was a very entertaining movie and I doubt most casual movie goers are going to give it much deep thought.

Reviews like these, with their comments, are basically why the engineers are trying to get back to earth to finish us off...it's an entertaining movie folks, not a religion or a life changing experience.

When she first said to go to their planet, I kind of figured she planned to unleash their own weapon on them (especially if they were still plotting against Earth). Then she said she wanted to ask them why they wanted to kill us and lost me. I still think unleashing the weapon on their home planet is her background design. Maybe she simply realizes she's going to die and might as well find out. Sort of mirrors Ripley (selfless suicide, etc.).
All the scientists WERE re ed. I mean ALL of them.
Hopefully the extra footage is good though. I knew that was coming.
my god some of you are getting way too technical. It's a movie, not real life. There's going to be some unrealistic qualities to it.

It started with The Fantastic Four, since then I hadn't missed any of these fantasy 3-D movies. For some reason I had a feeling about this one however. Would it be worth 35 bucks? I came up with..nope! I think my gut feeling nailed it.
